Q: What is the value proposition compared to email newsletter tools?

Forgive my ignorance, but I'm not sure I understand your unique value proposition in comparison to email newsletter tools – such as MailerLite, or even SendFox.

Email newsletter tools also allow you to gather personal & contact information (e.g.: name, email address, preferences, etc.), and generate a quick landing/sign-up page. What's more, they also allow custom domains, email automations, exporting subscribers, etc.

Sure, they're not positioned specifically as waitlist management tools – but does it really matter if they're capable of the same?

So I guess my question is: how are you different (and better) than any of the more decent email newsletter platforms? What are some unique features & capabilities that you have but they don't?

I'm open to purchasing, but I'm really waiting for that "aha moment"...

A: Great question! On the surface both collect emails, but Waitlister is built specifically for pre-launch growth.

The big difference is the viral referral system. Each subscriber gets a unique link, earns points for sharing, moves up the queue, and competes on a leaderboard. This can turn signups into active promoters. To get this with MailerLite you'd need to use a separate referral program provider and duct-tape it together yourself.

Beyond that: queue position psychology ("You're #47 in line"), native plugins for Framer/Webflow/WordPress, waitlist-specific analytics, phone number collection, and spam prevention. Plus yes, custom domains, exports, email broadcasts included as well.

TL;DR: If you just need to collect emails for a newsletter, those tools work. If you want your early subscribers to actively grow your launch for you, use Waitlister.
