Warm Welcome is a Hot Mess for Teams
I'll start by saying that WW has some really interesting concepts. Our team completely fell for the marketing. That's a good thing for WW - you want compelling marketing. On the other hand, we completely fell for the marketing - and the product really doesn't meet the marketing on the team front.
The thing that WW isn't coming right out and saying is: they don't have team functionality yet. Right now, WW has account sharing functionality. Once you set up your WW account via Appsumo, you can invite team members to use your account. When team members use your account (via their own login), they will send everything through your profile. 😬 Meaning every single video gets sent as you, the main account holder. 🙄
That's not team functionality. That's fancy account sharing.
The sad thing is we could probably could have made this work - by setting up the main account as a different team member and considering it a solo account for now - if the marketing had been clear.
But because the marketing arounds teams was mis-leading, I've lost team buy-in on our side and it's going back.
I hope WW takes this review to heart and updates the explanation around teams to make things more transparent. For now, WW is definitely only useful for single senders or for teams who can send everything from a single public profile.

May 9, 2024You're correct that Warm Welcome is meant to be used for either 1 Team working together or for one unique persons account. Our team functionality does allow multiple team members to login and use the app as a unified team so that is why it is called that.
I think it's a bit rough to give a harsh 1-taco review simply because your idea of what the team functionality should do isn't what it does.
