Riverside records both video and audio at the participants location then uploads them to my account ,so essentially each recording is recorded locally, thus producing the best quality recording both video/audio. Is this something that WaveVideo can do for me?

Awesome, I really am in need of that feature, So you have that in your roadmap already.. Second question. Would it be to my company's benefits to have 2 or more accounts since the participant needs to have there own account?
1 for us to use, 1 for the participant so we have more control?
FYI: My business - we create a podcast with audio/video for say a Plastic Surgeon. we brake down the vides in to less than 60sec "Best hits" short form videos.
Do you have an ETA? I am kind of waiting for that feature too.

you don't need to have an account to participate in stream. host can give any guests host permissions
