Good overall, but very poor editor, stock footage NEEDS filters, and many improvements to be made
The overall product here is good, and pretty solid. The value is very high.
Overall, it is a useful product to have.
However, there are some things that really need to be improved around the video editor:-
1. There are no filters for stock footage other than image/video or free/paid.
It really needs options for SD / HD / 4k - sometimes you put a video in and export to find out the quality is horrible.
Likewise, I want to be able to filter out vertical videos and made-up AI videos.
2. No ability to choose the frame rate of your project.
3. Dropping stock footage in could be made much quicker if you didn't have to open the Stock Footage window every time and find where you were in the list. It would be MUCH better if the Stock footage browser opened to the side of the timeline, so you could just drag and drop footage in without leaving the window.
4. Actual editing is horrific if you know how to edit properly. This is for basic editing only. To improve it, you need to be able to add and move items at will, not make them HAVE to touch the preceding item, etc. Trimming and cutting should not affect future items, pulling them in the timeline if you trim a clip, for example.
