Tons of Promise (I will keep it but I can't fully switch over yet)

I'm super stoked for what Wave.video can do.

I was really excited about switching from Streamyard over to Wave (and not paying a monthly fee)

I'm a livestream podcaster, and I run a "no-edit" podcast called Between The Before & After (we're top 5% globally, so quality matters)

The Pros
- easy to livestream to multiple destinations
- I love the "play this video" feature for when starting and ending broadcast, (eliminates unnecessary silence at beginning and end of broadcast)
- The "scenes" feature has potential
- Vertical format is awesome, and can livestream to IG via Instafeed
- Guests can Co-stream to their audience as well!
- I love their affiliate program and want to promote wave.video to my fellow podcasters

The Cons (why I'm still keeping Streamyard for now)
- Can only download video, not audio from recordings (as a podcaster, I only need audio after the recording)
- Can't natively create clips to post to IG/FB Reels and YT Shorts (the biggest reason I'm staying with Streamyard for now, super time-saving feature)
- Can't record locally yet (which takes care of a lot of potential issues with connectivity)
- Streamyard is a more mature, established platform with less bugs
- The video editor, while potentially super powerful, can be painfully slow and clunky (I'm running a high-powered gaming laptop, this isn't a problem on my end)

I WANT Wave to usurp Streamyard, so my LTD eliminates paying a monthly fee, but it's not quite there yet, but because I see its potential, I will keep Wave, and continue using Streamyard for most of my live broadcasts for now

Thank you for the feedback!

Let me address some of it:

> Can only download video, not audio from recordings (as a podcaster, I only need audio after the recording)

Audio can be downloaded as well. Just click Open Video either from past streams or from the studio after you finished streaming. There will be download links in the left panel.

> Can't natively create clips to post to IG/FB Reels and YT Shorts (the biggest reason I'm staying with Streamyard for now, super time-saving feature)

You can open the recording in the editor and cut/split/merge all the interesting parts into one short clip. Then publish and upload to YT.
Or did you mean publishing to IG Reels or YT shorts directly from wave?

> Can't record locally yet (which takes care of a lot of potential issues with connectivity)

It's coming soon.

> Streamyard is a more mature, established platform with less bugs

Curious if you encountered any bugs on wave and can share. Thank you!
