I have a clinic that has a websites with a form. and when potential are interested they fill out the form and then a sales person contacts them on whatsapp.
So it will seem like the number is doing cold outreach since their wasnt been any messages before. will this be a problem with whatsapp regulations?

Aug 15, 2025A: It depends on a case-by-case basis. Technically, if the end user wants to receive messages from you and finds them useful, it can work. However, if the end user marks your messages as spam, WhatsApp acts quickly.
You can start small and test, as there are no clearly defined rules regarding cold outreach. For cold reachout test out from number where you are ok, if whatsapp takes action. Do warmup if you are using new whatsapp numbers
