Same here. When asked about it, I only got some 'we're working on it, thanks for your understanding'-reply from Support. It has been over a day now, with no clear answer on what's going on and when things will be solved.
Not at all what you would expect from a security company.
Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. We are working on resolving this issue, and you will receive an email from us with updates shortly.
1. Do you think it is a good investment if I sell websites? So I can add a extra layer of protection? 2. How do I connect it to a website and if so is there a code that will be needed to be put inside the code of the website?
Thank you for giving our product a try. Just checked, our site is available and all good. Could you kindly make a screenshot and send it to our support team next time you encounter this problem?
Q: Hi,
I use Wordfence free version on all of my client websites.
Since most of the WordPress installations are in a shared server, my concern is how much server resources can be used by a plugin. WF is known to use many database tables to perform its tasks. What about Web Totem, How much load can it add to a WordPress site? Is there any report on this topic?
Thank you for your interest in our product. Indeed, server resources usage might be a sensitive topic. While we do not have any kind of report on it, our internal research has shown that the load our product adds to a WP site is relatively bearable. We encourage you to give it a try and make an informed decision afterwords.
After you make a purchase here, the power to decide what to do with your account and sub accounts is left to your discretion. Please keep in mind you can not "upgrade" your sub accounts to the "account" role.
1. Can you list what are the CMSs able to be guarded by WebTotem at the moment, since Weebly and SpredSimple aren't supported yet? 2. What if I build my site from scratch? Will WebTotem able to support this kind of site or is it strictly for some CMS only?
Antivirus and firewall will work for every PHP website, if the owner has an access to the code. For all other websites, only monitoring module will work.
Q: I purchased this the first time around and never was able to use it.
I've been following the Trello board for the functionality I need added and it keeps getting pushed back from quarter to quarter. In fact, looking at the changes on the Trello board, most things in the last year have either been pushed back quarter after quarter or you went through in October and moved them to archives and dropped them completely. We need some honesty here and that is that there has been little to no improvement AND all of the feedback that was created from the first campaign was pushed back further and further and ultimately archived and ignored. What do you have to say for yourselves?
Thank you for purchasing our product back then and caring for its improvement. Indeed, honesty and integrity are the core values for us, especially, when it comes to long-term relationships with our clients.
Coming back here after working passionately on our product improvement over the last few months, we dare greatly to offer You and the whole AppSumo Community the newest, strongest version of the cyber security shield. Since the last campaign, we released these features:
✅WAF custom rules (geomatch - block countries by IP) ✅Show malicious piece of code to the end user ✅Manual URL Whitelisting ✅Manual IP Whitelisting and Blacklisting ✅Server status (hard disc space, RAM Usage, CPU resource usage) ✅Permission Checks ✅Dos Basic Attack Mitigation (rate limit) ✅Brute Force Attack Prevention (login attempts limit)
You can track them all in our roadmap you mentioned under the "Released" section. We believe they show our growth and, more importantly, our commitment to serve our customers, long term.
And because there is no effort without error and shortcoming, some of the planned features got released later than we planned, and a few of them even got postponed. Naturally, we focused on the issues crucial to the majority of our customers first. Succeeding in doing so gave us the confidence to come back here with the product of better value for the AppSumo community.
Yet we are sorry to hear you feel we let you down. Could you kindly comment here or directly to our support chat on what potential features we need to focus on in the nearest future? It will be very helpful to us and all Sumo-lings.
Please know that we truly want you to be with us on our journey. And we sincerely thank you for helping us grow.
First of all, WAF custom rules and showing malicious piece of code to the end user are still on the roadmap for 4th quarter. Have these been released? The Trello board was updated on December 2nd.
Since April the Trello updates are as follows: #1. Moved from 2nd quarter to 4th quarter: - Plugin multisite functionality - CMS version check - WAF custom rules - Shows malicious piece of code to end user #2. Archived (I guess this means these features are NOT being implemented) - WordPress hardening - 2 factor authentication - Integration with Github - Integration with Jira - WordPress vulnerability scanner - Joomla extension #3. Released - Drupal extension - Reactive interface
So just looking at the Trello board there have been 2 released features since after April 5th. Six features have been archived. Four features have been pushed back over half of a year.
From that I'm just confused on what updates have been made in the past 6-9 months and what features were just dropped after pushing back from 1st to 2nd to 4th quarter or completely archived to never be brought up again. I believe these were the features requested during and after the first AppSumo campaign and most have not been released.
I've already purchased from the first campaign so I'm hoping to see some forward progress. It's concerning that there has been little progress AND that you are back on AppSumo again.
Thank you for your follow up. You have some valid points on delays. When it comes to the roadmap, however, we are constantly trying to balance our ambitions with realism and pragmatism within our resource constraints. We regularly address customer requests not accounted for in our roadmap and I've passed along your list to our technical team. Please be assured that we have been putting a great deal of effort into hardening our product as cyber security threats are constantly evolving and calling for new defense mechanisms. While we cannot incorporate all customer suggestions, additional product features are being considered. We appreciate your patience.
Please understand that these are not my requests. These were the requests from your AppSumo purchasers that were added to the Trello board and scheduled to be done back in the 1st quarter of 2021 and your team waited until late October to archive half of the 50% (6 of the 12) items that were on the Trello board, and haven't completed 4 of them. If you're limited team can't make but a few updates over the course of 9 months then how can we expect this product to grow. If there have been lots of customer requests that have been completed and not put on Trello then please provide a changelog so that we can understand what has been done.
Unfortunately, a 4 star deal for AppSumo is NOT a good rating. There were lots of complaints the first time around and now you are back 9 months later but you can't show us that the team has fixed anything from all of these complaints. In this case your Trello board isn't helping because it shows a lack of anything being done and a lack of completion of requests from the first AppSumo campaign. It also shows no roadmap for the future as it is blank except for custom branding being in the backlog.
I expect more from WebTotem. We should all expect more from WebTotem. Take some time, clean up the Trello board, add in a roadmap, un-archive what was requested and get it done, and be prepared to work hard to complete the new requests you get from new customers.
Thank you for your reply. You have all the rights to expect the best from us and believe me, we are our own worst critics. Fortunately, we have something new we can bring to the table, after nine months of hard work. New, already released features, are:
✅WAF custom rules (geomatch - block countries by IP) ✅Show malicious piece of code to the end user ✅Manual URL Whitelisting ✅Manual IP Whitelisting and Blacklisting ✅Server status (hard disc space, RAM Usage, CPU resource usage) ✅Permission Checks ✅Dos Basic Attack Mitigation (rate limit) ✅Brute Force Attack Prevention (login attempts limit).
The features from the 4th quarter of our roadmap are on their way :) Please stay tuned not to miss them out.
We work with customers requests on daily basis, not only during the campaign. Our managers get feedback from our clients regularly, checking on their priorities and evolving needs. This, together with the reasoning I brought up earlier, may sometimes change the way and order in which we release new features.
We remain committed to serve our clients long term and hope you will be more happy with us in the future.
I feel like we are going in circles and your unbelievable ability to NOT answer questions is absolutely amazing. Please speak directly to the below:
#1. The following feature requests added to the Trello board during the first campaign have been archived. These include: Honeypot Service, Automated Reporting in Scheduled Time, WordPress Hardening, WordPress Vulnerability Scanner, 2 factor authentication, WordPress Antispam, Joomla Extension, Spam Blocking, OAuth2 (Gmail), and Integration with Jira. More items have been abandoned than completed. Why? What is WebTotem working on for the future?
#2. There have been lots of negative reviews and comments about the firewall taking days to learn behavior, the dashboard stating a website is connected even after the plugin has been removed from a WordPress website, the firewall blocking primary users, sites breaking, and more. You can look at all of the 1 star reviews to see what issues people have been having. You have failed to answer if these have been fixed (reports from other customers say they have not) and if there are plans to fix it, how are they going to be fixed, why haven't they been fixed, etc.
Whatever you do, please do not respond with more marketing speak and obfuscation. Speak directly to the above questions with real answers.
I am sorry to read that you feel I failed to answer your questions, despite my genuine attempts to address your concerns in the most accurate and specific way possible. Please know that what appeared to you as "marketing speak and obfuscation" was me empathising with and respecting your feelings in this matter.
Your comment on my "absolutely amazing, unbelievable ability to NOT answer questions" seems personal and is hurtful. I refuse to respond to defamatory words like these.
Respectfully, Tatiana
Q: Hello Sumo-Lings!
🌮
I hope you have been enjoying this tool and using as a defense for any hackers around the world. Web Totem is a web application firewall that works on preventing attacks from any threats coming into your website.
Think about this tool as being one of the Marvel characters which is working around the clock to risk any possible data leak. 🧨
So I hope you decide on investing on this super hero tool and let me know what you think about it in the reviews!!🤪
Q: Respectfully,
"try it out for yourself" simply doesn't cut it, it is nowhere near good enough I am afraid.
Here is why:
1. Cybersecurity is rather a technical and specialist area - very few of us have the time or skills to test this out and form a valid assessmenmt of how good it is - you surely must understand that?
2. The first impression of this tool looks promising but digging deeper into the questions you soon see there is a history of problems with this experienced by other sumolings in the previous launch which includes serious issues like sites breaking, the tool not working and not being able to remove it from a site, or access a site that has it installed.
3. In an effort to gauge how good this tool is against a industry standard of Free Wordfence your only response, is to try it out ourselves - that doesn't help us ( see note 1) and it so clearly doesn't help it just looks like you are being evasive, which diminishes trust - trust is essential for any purchase but especially in the case of a technical product like this which we cannot fully evaluate.
I would like to see an independent review by a cyber security expert and some real customer reviews - is that possible?
I hope that you demonstrate that you are a trustworthy business by being transparent, by publishing this question and by addressing these issues properly and honestly.
If you do that then perhaps everyone can start to build some trust in webtotem, if you don't do that then I at least will have my answer - please please address the central issue here - we need a proper basis to trust a product like this - not try it out because honestly I am a cyber security noob Glws
I can't thank you enough for this thoughtful comment. My heart felt warm reading it. We developed our product with the certain perfect customer in mind, and, finally, we met you!
We can relate to you on so many levels!
You say, cybersecurity is rather technical area, - it is. Our goal has always been to deliver a product that not only cyber savvy, but also non-technical people can benefit greatly from. We want small business owners, bloggers, niche Internet agencies, pet sitting service providers and all website owners in the world have access to the affordable and efficient cybersecurity defense. We strive to make the Internet a safer place for you - and ourselves -in one click.
You say, honesty and transparency are important. We think honesty is the Foundation in every relationship, business relationships included. All the information about our product is published on our website, together with references from our partners. You can look into the founder's credentials and learn more about our story and experiences. And of course, you can look through many reviews on the Deal page right here.
You say, there are some critical reviews on the product from the previous campaign, and now you have doubts. Because of complex and constantly evolving nature of cybersecurity, we hit bumps in the road, occasionally. And our team works 24/7 to navigate them successfully. Behind every product are real people :) Psychologists say that we have to get beyond the idea that making mistakes is somehow indicative of not being smart, not competent, not belonging. Is is surely the challenging path, to become the most reliable cybersecurity solution in the world. But it is the path we have chosen, and we stay true to it. Our team works hard on strengthening the product modules, adjusting it to new demands, and releasing the features our customers need the most.
You say, you would like to see some honest reviews. Undoubtedly! The good news, they are all here, on the AppSumo website! Ohfavoo, I can see you have purchased 700 deals already. That is way beyond impressive. I wish I had your expertise and experience! Since you have 4 year experience with AppSumo, I am sure you know that all the reviews here are honest and written with a pure goal to help the AppSumo community. From my personal perspective, critical reviews even add credibility here. Well, some of them are pretty harsh and may cost me some sleep, but I know even those reviews were written with good intentions at heart :)
You say, we are hesitant to compare publicly ourselves to competitors, asking you to give it a try by yourself. That is correct. Please let me explain our position in the next comment, due to the word limitations.
I am resuming our dialogue here. Firstly, let me say that we respect your willingness to make an informed decision and choose the security product that suits you best. After all, the proper web security solution protects what matters most to you: your business, you online assets, even your reputation.
Due to the increase in the frequency and sophistication of cyber-attacks, the global cyber security market is booming now. Research in late 2019 showed that 2.8 million professionals worked in cybersecurity jobs globally, and the industry is growing exponentially. That means, hundreds, even thousands security startups exist in this field.
Last year, thousands of startups applied to be selected as TechCrunch Top Pick 2020 - and only three were actually selected as the most innovative and promising startups, in the “Security" category. WebTotem is honoured to be one of those three startups.
Of course, we are following the main product development trends in our industry and make our regular competitive landscape research. Nevertheless, we will not publish here the comprehensive competitive analyses on the competitors, for three reasons.
First, our main focus has been, and will always be on developing and improving our own product. The product you can rely on. All the time and talent of our startup team goes to the product development and customer service, not on keeping track of hundreds of our competitors. Startups rarely have vast research divisions and teammates to spare, right?
Secondly, any competitive landscape analysis will be outdated a few minutes right after it is published: each company strives to develop its product and releases new features every now and then. Therefore, to state that we have the feature other competitors do not have or vice versa, could be correct right now, but wrong the next day. And since we respect your right to make an informed decision, we will avoid misleading advertising.
Thirdly, common sense dictates that any review on our competitors’ product may seem a bit biased. Surely, we love our product! And we hope you will love it too!
Instead, we want to highlight now the generosity of our AppSumo Deal structure. You get a full stack of the security features, including Basic Malware Removal, WAF, Malware detection and many others. We are positive, WebTotem is all you need to feel cyber safe today.
We stand by our product. We are particularly proud of our hand-picked WAF database, customisation features and user-friendly design. We encourage you to give our product a try.
My primary concern is if I put this app to work on a complicated website which has 3rd pay bank/escrow API connections, people transactions on it etc, will this app break my site or cause it to hinder usability?
I’ve read in reviews where folks have mentioned that your product has broken or rendered their site useless.
That’s a big deal and Can completely destroy our credibility due to an inferior product.
With that being said, what have you done to fix those issues?
And please don’t give a generic answer on how your tan is hard at work etc.
Give me specific bugs you found, what you did to fix them and what you’re doing to prevent them.
Also, what specific website features that you are aware of will cause a conflict with your app?
In other Words, what known compatibility issues are you aware of now?
Thank you for your thoughtful comment. We can feel the cyber security matters a lot to you, as it should be.
You seem like an analytical thinker. There are always two sides to every story, or, in AppSumo terms, there is always a reply from our team to the review, positive or the one that suggests an opportunity to grow. Since you encourage us to give you specific answers, I kindly suggest you to look at our replies to the reviews you mentioned. The way you refer to them above is a bit vague to me (my bad!), so I refrain from further discussions about hypothetical problems to avoid any speculations and keep our dialogue professional.
The 3 latest reviews were all negative. May, June, an Dec. Half the review in April were good but the other half were very negative. Do you have any new reviews from the past two months? Appsumo or someplace else?
Thank you for your interest in our product. We totally undersand why you are asking for reviews on WebTotem. Same as you, we want to feel secure in our decision-making processes by reading what other people think on our potential purchase.
I truly believe that all reviews on WebTotem, good and bad, are written by people with good intentions, from a pure desire to help us and other community members. We all are socially wired to help each other, to do something for the greater good.
Now, when it comes to the "positive/negative" reviews ratio and how it may represent the reality of the situation, the correlation might not be as straightforward as we may think. Numerous researches show that people are much more vocal, when it comes to leaving a negative review than praising a product or a service. In the "Why you can't really trust negative online reviews" article in The New York Times, data suggests that only 1,5% of buyers care to leave a review after the purchase. And more often than not, the review will be negative, because emotions are involved. Personally, I found it very interesting. Indeed, I tend to go silent about my good shopping experiences. Perhaps, I need to say "Thank you" more often :)
That's being said, I suggest you give our product a try. With the AppSumo 60 days money-back guarantee, I think it is worth your time.
Hope it helps, Best Regards, Tatiana
Q: 1) How do you compare with WordFence?
I know WordFence has 2 Factor Authentication, but have not seen this in your site.
2) Are you looking into adding 2 Factor Authentications?
3) Would you consider in changing the login path wp-admin to custom path to make site more secure?
I got 3 tier plan and looking forward to seeing your product grow.
We have 2 Factor Authentication on our product roadmap. Thank you for suggesting changing the login path wp-admin to custom path: definitely, our team will think it through and consider adding this adjustment to our roadmap.
Once again, thank you for trusting us and helping us grow!
Our tool is compatible with other cybersecurity products, you don't need to deactivate any of them. Please kindly keep in mind, though, even the best security products can be slightly incompatible. Firstly, because of the complexity of each of those solutions. Also, some incompatibility can occur because your security “guardians” try to defend you from the same threats and attacks, simultaneously. Think about it as the army of white knights, fighting for you, together: once in a while, they can hit each other too.
Regarding comparison to other similar solutions, we respect your willingness to make an informed decision and choose the security product that suits you best. Nevertheless, we’d rather not state here the comprehensive competitive analyses on the competitors, for three reasons.
First, our main focus has been, and will always be on developing and improving our own product. The product you can rely on. Secondly, any competitive landscape analysis will be outdated a few minutes right after it is published: each company strives to develop its product and releases new features every now and then. And since we respect your right to make an informed decision, we will avoid misleading advertising. Thirdly, common sense dictates that any review on our competitors’ product may seem a bit biased. Surely, we love our product! And we hope you will love it too.
Instead, we want to highlight now the generosity of our AppSumo Deal structure. You get a full stack of the security features, including Basic Malware Removal, WAF, Malware detection and many others. We are positive, WebTotem is all you need to feel cyber safe today.
We encourage you to give our product a try and explore its value and potential to the fulles.
Thank you for listening. I have a quick question: I read in a review that the roadmap is impressive, for feature additions to Tier 2 and 3. I went to the roadmap, but I did not find anything. When I buy Tier 1, will I also have access to all the present & future features of Tier 2 and 3? Besides the limitation of the amount of websites?
Thank you so much! And I'm impressed to read several of your very respectful, thoughtful and elaborate answers!
Of course, when you buy Tier 1, you also have access to all the present & future features of Tier 2 and 3, apart from the limitation of the amount of websites and sub accounts. All three tiers have the same Professional plan as a basis. And the beauty of the life time deal is that by getting it now, you become our long term customer, supporter, and beneficiary. All the features we are about to release, all the improvements and adds-on - all yours. This AppSumo deal is our way to communicate our commitment to serve you long time in response to the credit of trust you give us today.
As for the roadmap, I assume the review you mentioned was written a few months ago. Indeed, after our previous campaign here we had a lot of "TO DO" cards on the Trello board, and now most of them are in the "RELEASED" category.
Hope it clears things up.
Again, thank you for your words of support: it really means a lot to me and all our team.
Please kindly keep in mind, even the best security products can be slightly incompatible. For example, because of the complexity of each of those solutions. Also, some incompatibility can occur because your security “guardians” try to defend you from the same threats and attacks, simultaneously. Think about it as the army of white knights, fighting for you, together: once in a while, they can hit each other too.
We encourage you to give our product a try and explore its value and potential to the fullest!
So your product isn't a WAF that is routed to using the DNS, it is a "firewall" that lives on the server? I am assuming it is looking at the incoming logs. If so how much memory and CPU does the application take?
Or do you hi-jack the server traffic, route it through your servers, then route back to the server? If you do it this way, how, do you do this without affecting the application.
Indeed, we developed our product for users of all levels, so you don't have to be tech savvy to benefit from it. Our main goal, from the very beginning, was to help small businesses to protect themselves in the Internet. Therefore, there is no need to dig into the DNS settings or server settings.
All the traffic is scanned on the client's side. To our best knowledge, CPU and memory usage increases up to 20-30%.
We offer PHP WAF that is supported by all web-servers, including NGINX.
Hope it helps!
Best, Tatiana
Q: I bought the highest tier offer last time Webtotem was on Appsumo.
But after testing it on multiple sites, I found that it did not help me fix hacked sites and did not prevent hacks on healthy sites. Sadly, I had to get a refund and choose Malcare which worked perfect and seemlessly.
Here's my question: What improvements/changes have you made to WebTotem since the last Appsumo offer?
So happy to see you again! We are glad you came by our product this time too.
Indeed, we have history :) Since you are sharing your perspective on your experience with us, let us kindly duplicate here our response to you requests from a few months ago, so the AppSumo community has the whole information. It is already public, so forgive me my repetitiveness.
On March 24th, I wrote to you here, in the "questions" section of the Campaign:
"Hi DevintheDeveloper,
We are very happy that you were, indeed, open to dialogue. I can see the email thread between our team and you. Apparently, your issue - the DDos attack protection - was out of scope of our current value proposition.
And our team members brought that to your attention. Moreover, we value transparency and pointed that out in the "Questions" section here (11ty, 12th, 16th March).
I understand how frustrating it might be, so let me explain, to the best of my abilities, why it is so: we protect your website on the app level. Consequently, the DDOS type of attack is out of the scope of our service.
DevintheDeveloper, since the cyber security is a complicated issue, your security assistant team will always need the full scope of data to get to the root of the problem and offer possible solutions. What may be perceived as a "slow" process, is rather appropriate due diligence phase that needs involvement of all the parties.
Let me repeat that are fully committed to get to the root to your client's website problem and in case there is a cause-and-effect link to our product, we will solve it. Please help us to help you.
In any case, we respect your decision to chose the security assistant(s) that suits you best.
Best Regards, Tatiana"
DevintheDeveloper, we appreciate your good intent and readiness to give us another try. Please refer to our Founder's Welcome message (pinned comment) to review our new features.
Lack of DDOS attack help might have been one issue. There were many. I could link you to my review of your original appsumo deal, but it looks like that page has been deleted so no one can see any feedback from your last appearance here.
I distinctly remember hackers placed a code snippet for hair care products on one of my restaurant sites that affected their header. Webtotem didn't detect it or clean it. Malcare fixed it right away and prevented further attacks.
I'll take a look at the founder's note. Really hoping Webtotem has evolved since last time.

Same here. When asked about it, I only got some 'we're working on it, thanks for your understanding'-reply from Support. It has been over a day now, with no clear answer on what's going on and when things will be solved.
Not at all what you would expect from a security company.

Tatiana_WebTotem
May 14, 2024A: Dear bdragon,
Thank you for purchasing our product back then and caring for its improvement.
✅WAF custom rules (geomatch - block countries by IP)
✅Show malicious piece of code to the end user
✅Manual URL Whitelisting
✅Manual IP Whitelisting and Blacklisting
✅Server status (hard disc space, RAM Usage, CPU resource usage)
✅Permission Checks
✅Dos Basic Attack Mitigation (rate limit)
✅Brute Force Attack Prevention (login attempts limit)
Respectfully,
Tatiana

Let's start with what was already on the roadmap.
First of all, WAF custom rules and showing malicious piece of code to the end user are still on the roadmap for 4th quarter. Have these been released? The Trello board was updated on December 2nd.
Since April the Trello updates are as follows:
#1. Moved from 2nd quarter to 4th quarter:
- Plugin multisite functionality
- CMS version check
- WAF custom rules
- Shows malicious piece of code to end user
#2. Archived (I guess this means these features are NOT being implemented)
- WordPress hardening
- 2 factor authentication
- Integration with Github
- Integration with Jira
- WordPress vulnerability scanner
- Joomla extension
#3. Released
- Drupal extension
- Reactive interface
So just looking at the Trello board there have been 2 released features since after April 5th. Six features have been archived. Four features have been pushed back over half of a year.
From that I'm just confused on what updates have been made in the past 6-9 months and what features were just dropped after pushing back from 1st to 2nd to 4th quarter or completely archived to never be brought up again. I believe these were the features requested during and after the first AppSumo campaign and most have not been released.
I've already purchased from the first campaign so I'm hoping to see some forward progress. It's concerning that there has been little progress AND that you are back on AppSumo again.
Dear bdragon,
Thank you for your follow up.
Best Regards,
Tatiana

Tatiana,
Please understand that these are not my requests.
Dear bdragon,
Thank you for your reply. You have all the rights to expect the best from us and believe me, we are our own worst critics. Fortunately, we have something new we can bring to the table, after nine months of hard work. New, already released features, are:
✅WAF custom rules (geomatch - block countries by IP)
✅Show malicious piece of code to the end user
✅Manual URL Whitelisting
✅Manual IP Whitelisting and Blacklisting
✅Server status (hard disc space, RAM Usage, CPU resource usage)
✅Permission Checks
✅Dos Basic Attack Mitigation (rate limit)
✅Brute Force Attack Prevention (login attempts limit).
Best Regards,
Tatiana

Tatiana,
I feel like we are going in circles and your unbelievable ability to NOT answer questions is absolutely amazing.
Dear bdragon,
I am sorry to read that you feel I failed to answer your questions, despite my genuine attempts to address your concerns in the most accurate and specific way possible.
Respectfully,
Tatiana
Q: Hello Sumo-Lings!
🌮
I hope you have been enjoying this tool and using as a defense for any hackers around the world. Web Totem is a web application firewall that works on preventing attacks from any threats coming into your website.
Think about this tool as being one of the Marvel characters which is working around the clock to risk any possible data leak. 🧨
So I hope you decide on investing on this super hero tool and let me know what you think about it in the reviews!!🤪
Share WebTotem
Q: Respectfully, "try it out for yourself" simply doesn't cut it, it is nowhere near good enough I am afraid.
If you do that then perhaps everyone can start to build some trust in webtotem, if you don't do that then I at least will have my answer - please please address the central issue here - we need a proper basis to trust a product like this - not try it out because honestly I am a cyber security noob

May 14, 2024A: Dear Ohfavoo,
I can't thank you enough for this thoughtful comment.
To be continued,
Best Regards,
Tatiana

I'm interested in their response as I have the same concerns.
Dear cientiros,
Please don't hesitate if you have more questions! Happy to answer.

Dear Ohfavoo,
I am resuming our dialogue here.
Ohfavoo, we hope to see you among our customers.
I remain at your disposition for any questions.
Best Regards,
Tatiana
Hello cientiros!
I remain here to answer your questions.
Respectfully,
Tatiana

The 3 latest reviews were all negative. May, June, an Dec. Half the review in April were good but the other half were very negative. Do you have any new reviews from the past two months? Appsumo or someplace else?
Hello TonyN!
Hope it helps,
Best Regards,
Tatiana
Q: 1) How do you compare with WordFence?
I know WordFence has 2 Factor Authentication, but have not seen this in your site.
2) Are you looking into adding 2 Factor Authentications?
3) Would you consider in changing the login path wp-admin to custom path to make site more secure?
I got 3 tier plan and looking forward to seeing your product grow.

Once again, thank you for trusting us and helping us grow!

Q: 1) How is your service different from HideMyWP Ghost by squirly and wordfence?
2) I have both the tools running, is your tool compatible to run simultaneously with them or i need to deactivate them to run yours
Tatiana_WebTotem
May 15, 2024A: Hello Abhik_Creator,
Thank you for the interest in our product!
Q: Hi!
Tatiana_WebTotem
May 15, 2024A: Hi Steven-V!
Thank You for your question and your kind words.

Does this work on Ngnix and Apache?
Dear Sumo-ling,
Indeed, we developed our product for users of all levels, so you don't have to be tech savvy to benefit from it.
Best,
Tatiana
Q: I bought the highest tier offer last time Webtotem was on Appsumo.
But after testing it on multiple sites, I found that it did not help me fix hacked sites and did not prevent hacks on healthy sites. Sadly, I had to get a refund and choose Malcare which worked perfect and seemlessly.
Here's my question: What improvements/changes have you made to WebTotem since the last Appsumo offer?
Tatiana_WebTotem
May 14, 2024A: Hello DevintheDeveloper!
Best Regards,
Tatiana"
DevintheDeveloper, we appreciate your good intent and readiness to give us another try. Please refer to our Founder's Welcome message (pinned comment) to review our new features.
Best Regards,
Tatiana

Lack of DDOS attack help might have been one issue. There were many. I could link you to my review of your original appsumo deal, but it looks like that page has been deleted so no one can see any feedback from your last appearance here.
I distinctly remember hackers placed a code snippet for hair care products on one of my restaurant sites that affected their header. Webtotem didn't detect it or clean it. Malcare fixed it right away and prevented further attacks.
I'll take a look at the founder's note. Really hoping Webtotem has evolved since last time.
Dear DevintheDeveloper,
Thank you for the follow up. All the reviews from the previous campaign are public.
We remain here at your convenience.
