This cannot be serious. There is no AI involved, it is just cutting the video in pieces.
Okay, I should have done this a few years ago. Bought WiseCut in 2021 - Back then AI was a thing. But in 2025, this can hardly be regarded as an AI tool. I can do a better job, faster. Just by placing the complete video in whatever free video editing app en manually cut the video in pieces. Wisecut does nothing more. No combining of parts, no editing, no timeline, no B-roll, no voiceover, nothing. This is a joke in 2025 when it is called an AI tool. Still 2 taco's as this was 2021 although I think I should take the second taco away just because they should have at least develop something the last four years which is not the case. Hope they will never be back on AppSumo and if so: be warned.
I mainly bought the product to be able to save time editing. The AI is not up to the point yet, and is painfully slow. Sure, it can add some music and enhance the voice. But why I bought it for was saving time editing. Won't recommend that tool at all.
They say I did not activate? I have 1000's of PRODUCTS from AppSumo yet this One and only one I never activated? I know I did they say other, they will be back on to sell again, they all come back, I'll be waiting
Promising... but UX and workflow is flawed and unreliable
I've been using WiseCut since it was first released on AppSumo and have done about 10 projects with it. Or at least, I've attempted to do so. While I like the promise of the application, the UX is a train wreck. Many times, after uploading several videos for a project, the service just loses videos, and you need to restart all over again. The entire workflow is clumsy. The transcription is not too bad and once you've got the content loaded correctly, it is relatively easy to edit the videos. In summary: there are better solutions for this type of video editing, but if WiseCut can address the broken processes of getting content into the system, it could be a winner.

Too Slow and poor UX
I bought it with the intention to save time in editing videos and make them more professional. But the loading times are simply infinite.
At the end I use other tools.
