Cool Stuff!
Ok, first of all, it's good! :-)
What I like. It works as promised, which is something you sometimes miss with other products. Although it doesn't - purely by feel - push your own projects quite as quickly as you might have hoped, it increases productivity even more.
Who is it suitable for? Anyone who is used to choosing their words and formulating a prompt coherently - to some extent - should use it. Of course you can also make manual changes to the text generated by the audio file, but this is actually something you want to avoid.
However, there is a solution here if you simply add a corresponding instruction to the prompt in your own actions (e.g.: Correct my speech input, i.e. turn keywords into complete sentences etc......). then the transcript can be formed accordingly with the actual prompt to a good result.
All in all, very nice!
What I don't like. First of all, the login. Yes, it works well and securely and probably has advantages for the manufacturer, but for me personally it has disadvantages. Firstly, to be able to use the extension (sidebar), this has to be done in Chrome or Edge. So I can't use Firefox here in a meaningful way. However, since a link is sent by email during login, which is then used to access the standard browser, I also had to switch this to Chrome. Secondly, if I want to log in on an iPad where Safari normally opens, am I now also forced to switch to Chrome, if this is even possible without any problems? Thirdly, the actions are good, but a slightly more productive, possibly alternative display, i.e. instead of always jumping from page to page, would be a solution. Perhaps a directory tree with its own folders, hidden behind a button and thus fitting into the design? Thirdly, it is a bit sluggish on my system. However, this may be due to my connection to the Internet, as the audio file must first be transferred to Wiz in order to generate the transcript and then - with the respective action / prompt - the result. This could be faster, but it may be an individual problem.
Now a question. I've watched the YouTube videos that talk about the actual engine. I don't really care what's under the hood, but if I already have my own API key with OpenAI or another engine, why can't I use it? I have unlimited inputs, but surely one or two additional users would be added who would like to secure a cheaper rate - outside of appsumao. As I have an interest in the success of the tool, I would like to receive future updates, of course I support the continued existence of the company.
Suggestion. And to finish, as pretty as it is, it should be pre-installed on every MAC.
OK, nice work and productive solution. Good Luck!
