Q: Which AI Tool is best for Food Research, Solutions for Sourcing, Contamination, and Public Collaboration?
I'm researching food sourcing, harvesting, pesticide and chemical contamination, ingredient origins, and brand transparency. Which is better and why: PaperGuide, Wonders AI, or Read Wonders. Which one helps me gather credible sources from university papers, research facilities, then organize findings, and share them with the public via links? My priority is a tool that ensures transparency, lists all sources used, and supports collaboration with the public on food benefits and risks. Can yours show proofs for:
-Sourcing and Harvesting
-Pesticide and Chemical Contamination
-Food Processing and Extraction
-Ingredient Origins and Farming Practices
-Name Brands and Product Transparency
How does your SaaS tool allow me to publicly display a comprehensive list of all sources used in my research so others can verify the information themselves?

Apr 25, 2025A: Hi P2, all of the topics you're mentioning are really well suited for Wonders! In fact, we have one B2B pilot partner who has been researching exactly this.
We have an upcoming feature that lets you publish your finished findings on a publicly accessible link with full citations and bibliography, so that anyone can verify the information.
Honestly, both tools will let you achieve your goals, but differently:
I genuinely think—given your need of gathering credible sources, organizing those findings with precise control and transparency, and sharing them via public links—Wonders AI (previously ReadWonders) should be the more suitable.
We provide a unique workflow with fully transparent, and controllable steps with AI-guided research steps. This lets you explore a single topic per board and create an evidence-based analysis that will be shareable on a public link soon.
Paperguide is a bit more traditional, requiring you to switch functions, separately use AI chat, AI-writing assistant, and data extraction features. But it seems like a great tool and you should definitely try both to see which suits your needs better.

Food Research Areas to Address:
Sourcing and Harvesting: Understanding where food comes from and how it is grown, including the use of sustainable or harmful practices.
Pesticide and Chemical Contamination: Identifying pesticide residues, chemical additives, and their impacts on human health.
Food Processing and Extraction: Analyzing how food is processed, including any chemical treatments used

All of these topics are well-suited for Wonders! In fact, we have one B2B pilot partner in the agriculture space who has been exploring similar topics.

What Sets Your Tools Apart? ie:
Collaboration Tools: Your SaaS solution likely provides features that allow us to collaborate with others, especially the general public, through public links or announcements. This would enable people to access the research findings, participate in discussions, and contribute to the knowledge base, right?

Our main differentiation is the end-to-end research workflow. It lets you complete a full literature review in 1 view--complete with searches, and analysis.
Collaboration is the second one, as all of our research projects can be shared with your colleagues. However, this feature is mainly targeting team collaboration or supervision, not necessarily public access.

-Transparency and Awareness shared so people can access detailed information about the food they consume, understanding not just the nutritional value but also the sourcing and contamination risks. -Informed, credible, well-researched data at our fingertips to share to the general public who can make informed decisions about the foods they purchase, supporting health and more sustainable choices

I think this may be helpful: we are looking into building a feature that would let you publish your research in a blogpost-like format with full links to sources.

Is there already a complete Public Participation model or will it be coming thus encouraging public collaboration allowing for collective input, ensuring that the research remains relevant and up-to-date with real-world concerns? TY

We don't currently support public participation, but it is a really interesting idea! I could imagine it being useful in the Open Innovation context of some of our B2B customers.
We are at least planning to build publishable research results that can be accessed through a link. Kind of like a blogpost-type experience for completed research.

The storage question is really important. What are not just the size limits but also the duration limits (annually or forever), hopefully lifetime based, eh? (For T2, T3, and Tier 4: size and duration). Are the workspaces and project boards both storage spaces and lifetime storage?

Verified purchaser
Hi P2, understood!
- It will likely be lifetime-based just as projects are, we won't ever automatically delete your content without your input
- We'll work out the storage plans for custom PDF upload in the coming weeks, but it will be fair and usable
- Workspaces and projects have unlimited searches and won't expire

Might you be able to add Japanese language (prompts/dashboards/workspaces) in the next year or two?

Hi, multilingual access has been the #1 request. We'll be working on this soon!
