Q: ❓What types of content can I use within WP Courseware?
💡 WP Courseware course units are WordPress posts, so anything which can be placed into a WordPress post or page can be used within a unit. This includes text, video embeds, audio embeds, items from the WordPress Media Library, external URLs, downloads, and more.
Of course, some very specific types of content may require another third-party plugin to allow them to be used in WordPress. One popular example might be editable documents, such as Google Docs. Another example is live webinars, which WP Courseware users often want to embed in course lessons. If there's a very specific type of content you need to embed within your units, we recommend searching the WordPress.org plugin repository as you'll almost always find at least one option to meet your project requirements.
Hi Nate, embedding a webinar won't trigger the automation - finished watching webinar send feedback email etc right?
Q: Hi,
I can't figure out from knowledgebase if such a scenario is possible:
1.
Instructors are paying (one off or plan) to be able to submit courses 2. Instructors are allowed a max number of students (depending on payment plan) 3. Each instructor can manually add students to his courses". 4. Instructor can manually decide on specific courses to specific students. eg. Student A can access courses 1, 3, 4, 7 Student B can access courses 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9 etc.
I'm just the administrator of the website and all above happens automatically.
Please let me know which of the points above are (not) possible with WP Courseware.
The AppSumo tiers have been created especially for this deal. They don't exactly line up with what we typically offer on our website. There are no feature limitations between tiers. All tiers include all plugin functionality, lifetime plugin updates, and lifetime support. All tiers allow you to create an unlimited number of courses and host an unlimited number of students on the WordPress site on which the plugin is installed. The only difference between tiers relates to the number of WordPress websites that you can use your license on.
"They don't exactly line up with what we typically offer on our website"
What is different about these AppSumo tiers from the plans offered directly on your site? What do we miss out on (or get extra) by buying through AS?
Q: Do you have a public roadmap available?
I see this plugin is old it should be the leader but it is slow development any plan to improve course UI or add focus mode like other LMS plugins thanks
Q: Nate how your App compares in features to Acadle (here on Appsumo) and Gurucan?
Don't give me the reply that you never hear or know about of these products which compete with you in similar training market. Instead research Acadle features here and google Gurucan features and then give me a response to how these training apps compares to your deal.
I've not spend much time in Acadle and I haven't used Gurucan, so I can't really speak to any feature comparisons. However, one major difference is that WP Courseware is a WordPress plugin while Acadle and Gurucan are web apps...they're very different products in terms of implementation.

Q: I would like to create a sales page using Divi, have an "Add To Cart" button that when clicked actually adds the course to the cart.
The student can then see the course in the cart and proceed to the checkout process. How do I do this? Is it possible? If not, how do I build a sales page using your software?
Also, I'd love to see more help/tutorials on creating different looks/designs for courses. Thanks :)
I have been using Divi and Elementor; these builders are a bit heavier and had some issues after 5~10 years of use. I really hope your team pays attention to this Brizy builder.
Ben you can easily google Gurucan and Brizy before you give your reply that you never hear of this products.
Q: Hello,
1.
Can WP Courseware be used with Thrive Cart? 2. If not directly, is it possible to use Thrive Cart via a funnel checkout and have any students who purchase be zapped in automatically via Zapier? 3. Is Single Sign On an option?
Yes, WP Courseware will restrict your course content to registered and logged in users who have been assigned access to a course through purchase or other enrollment methods.
Does it have the ability to make it mandatory for students to watch videos to completion to progress to the next lesson? 2. Do you have integration with gravity forms?
1. This functionality is available if you integrate WP Courseware with our S3 Media Maestro media delivery plugin.
2. There is currently no direct integration for Gravity Forms, however, within the lessons you can embed any type of content you'd normally place within other WordPress posts or pages.
Q: Hello i have bought the plugin, and looking to upload it onto my website.
I have done a search for WP Courseware, and getting addons but not the actual plugin. Can you please refer me to the plug in or let me know what the title is. I have looked at installation videos to find it, but it seems to jump over that step. Thank you

Q: Looks interesting.
1) How does this compare to Heights platform, which was on App Sumo? if we bought that, why would we use this instead, advantages, any disadvantages? 2) I see it sends emails, what address will that use? Do have to set up some complicated sender. or will it use our Email marketing tool? 3)Is this integrated with mailerlite? If someone signs up for a class, will it send the address to mailer lite? 4)If I am placing videos in course, will that be using bandwidth on my host? 5)Could we place videos in course using WE VIDeo as the host or another program like Vimeo? 6)Is the ecommerce feature built in and easy to use, set up? 7)Can this become just another link on my normal web page/blog as in CLASS as a tap in the page menu?8)Will this help my SEO in any way having it attached to my word press site vs. using Heights or another SAAS platform and making it a sub page? 9)Will this slow down a Word press site if it is listed in the menu, and not the main landing page? 10) Does this have a built in message board to communicate with students like a facebook type board? 11) Does it have badges or gamification of any kind? 12) Does it allow you to have projects or for students to submit a project or paper? 12)It says you have an integration with Wishlist, how or why would I want to use Wishlist with this? 13) Do we continue to get free updates and support for life?

Q: Does your plugin integrate well with WP eStore & WP eMember (from Tips & Tricks HQ)?
I saw someone on a review site mentioning that it did a few years ago, but these plugins are not listed on your recent integrations page.
Also, your S3 integration plugin could work well with course building. Will it be listed on Appsumo?
Thanks!

Nate,
Please add integration with Mailerlite to your feature requests. It's a great ESP that (I think) doesn't get talked about enough.
And Aweber would be good, too, I guess....
