I bought this a while ago because I planned on creating a course website. When I finally decided to use it I noticed the company has old outdated youtube videos. The instructional videos are nowhere near complete and they just talk and talk about irrelevant stuff but spend very little time on setting up the course pages.
Extremely limited. Looks cheap and you have to customize templates which is going to take hours or days if you do not know how.
I got plenty of great deals at AppSumo. I have gotten some great deals with other Learning Management Systems. But I still keep looking for something that has fewer limits to students. As of today, I can say I have found an app that works for what I need.
I can throw a WordPress together install the plugin and start a course in less time than it takes me to plan my course, & I can plan a course fast, It should not take you more than 15 minutes when you know what you are doing.
I mean, you have the chance to get a license to install this plugin on unlimited websites. You get modules, quizzes, & video integrations.
You get to create and manage, Courses, Modules, Units, Quizzes, Questions, Students, Orders, Subscriptions, Coupons, Tools, and more.
Automatically send Certificates of completion. Test your students with random questions from a question bank at different subjects by using tags on the questions.
That way your students can retake the quiz and get random questions from your bank so you prevent your students from just learning the questions and the answers.
Divide your curses into unlimited modules with unlimited units.
Manage your Students, Orders, and Subscriptions. Give away discounts with Coupons.
If you know what you are doing. This tool is all you need besides a good server.
I highly recommend this plugin to anyone interested in creating a course, an online school, or anyone trying to teach online.

I was SUPER Excited To Get and USE WP Courseware as Promoted, promised and Paid-For Only To Discover that (After more than a hundred hours!) That They DO NOT Have Any Comprehensive End-To-End Course or Training Video On How To Install, Set-Up and Effectively Use WP Courseware! - Seemed Odd To Me Since They ARE a "COURSE" Creation and Management Tool That The "Course Company" Did NOT Have A COURSE on How To Use and Leverage Their Product. - I Was Sooooo Excited and Taken-In By Their Promise Spent More Than 100 Hours Looking For, Scouring Through, Sending eMails & Help Tickets back n' Forth Only To (EVENTUALLY) Admit That They DO NOT Have Either A Full End-To-End Tutorials and/or Trainings On YouTube and/ore Especially Organized and set up in a COURSE System! - The Last Video Link THEY Sent (Which WAS 'Some' Help in answering my questions) was a Video FROM "ELEMENTOR" Training Videos thaT WAS not Even Theirs! - I Even Offered to CREATE A Super Simple COURSE For Them if They Would Simply HELP ME (Show Me How... Answer My Basic Questions!) Get The Plug-In Get SET-UP and Working As Promoted, Promised and Paid For! - Asked... Waited... Asked... Waited with distant and vague replies NOT even answering simple questions only to wait out the clock on the refund period! - VERY POOR Marks For Service, Support and Buyer Support! - Too Bad... One of the curious dilemmas we face as Sumolings is buying access to a SaaS that shuts down in the future which means being locked out permanently from the platform. With WP Courseware, I was happy to buy the product because I wanted the ability to self manage course websites in exactly the way I want. Wordpress is great when you can optimize it efficiently and while I haven't tested the plugin for optimization and speed, being in charge of your own fate and data is just too great of an advantage.
Of course you lose out on great features and other SaaS course products are fantastic too depending on your use case. However if you need something "decentralized" this tool is pretty decent!
I have been looking for a Wordpress solution to work with Woocommerce because I use Cartflows. I have had my eye on Wpcourseware for a while because they are always updating and making there plugin better. The founders are totally involved, and show a passion for their product. I was just excited when it hit Appsumo. I couldn't pass up this deal. And now they have membership functionality, whoa 😳. Keep it up WpCourseware, keep listening to your base, and thank you!

With WP Courseware, I was happy to buy the product because I wanted the ability to self manage course websites in exactly the way I want.
