Can i use this for SSL certs if my domain is hosted by Namecheap and I'm not suing a Wordpress website? For instance my domain with Namecheap is using a subdirectory to point to a TidyCal booking page i have. I would like to add SSL to the namecheap domain. Would that be possible? Also, the various tiers mention branding versus white label. Can you share where myself or a website visitor would see that?
A: Hi, Yes, if you have your own certificate, you can use it. The plugin offers a free certificate, but you do not have to use it if you have a 3rd party option :) The plugin will still monitor it.
White label lets you remove all the mentions of our company as well as the plugin name. Unlike White Labeling, Rebranding allows you to completely change the name of the plugin, logo, and appearance and create a unique version, which you can sell as part of your service to your clients (you can't resell the plugin, but you can offer it as part of your service, for example if you build sites for customers, you can include your own version of the plugin and install on clients' sites under your own name).
thanks, i don't have my own certs. I would like for this to provide the SSL certs. Will it work with Wildcard options for my domain? how long is the cert good for? Does it autorenew?
Yes! By clicking a button in the plugin’s settings, a free certificate will be automatically generated from Let’s Encrypt, and you can quickly install it on your site.
i'm stuck. I bought this and don't understand how to install the SSL cert for my domain (not hosted on Wordpress). How do i just create a Cert. I don't have any Wordpress websites?
Unfortunately, no. WordPress plugins only work on WordPress, as you need to install them before you can use any of the features.
Q: Few questions
I am using really simple ssl and so far is good.
The problems is that the plugin show to many messages and alerts to force you to the pro version so i might get your pro version just to get rid of that.
1) Does your pro plugin show none importants alerts as well each time a user activate it?
2) Does it require me to install 2 plugin (free and pro) or just one plugin?
1) If you purchase this deal, it is a PRO lifetime version that won't show you any upsells. You can show alerts regarding your certificate, but you won't get any ads/upsells in the plugin. 2) No, you just need this (PRO) version :)
Hi, my DNS is on Cloudflare, and my hosting provider offers free SSL certificates for my domains. How does WP FORCE add value? Does WP FORCE issue an SSL certificate to CNAMES? also, would there be any conflicts of certificates if they are already issued by the hosting company? Thanks, and I look forward to your response.
A: Hi, The WP Force SSL plugin offers several features, including the ability to issue a free certificate. However, its main value is its real-time SSL monitor, which monitors more than 50 errors each time it checks your site. Thus, you don't have to worry about the certificate. The plugin also includes a content scanner that provides a comprehensive report, allowing you to easily avoid mixed content errors.
