Since I'm in Europe, dare I ask the "GDPR" question? Embedding a Google map without asking the user is certainly against EU data privacy rules; embedding a map from an OpenStreetmap provider sounds better then connecting to Google, but it's still a privacy issue, since for example OpenStreetmap.org has no privacy statement, when I last checked it.
So - what do you advise? Certainly, a tiles proxy could do it, but - what a hassle! Does your plugin have an option to ask the user before embedding the map, or is anything planned towards that feature? Do you have any other ideas, how to do it?

Yes we do have a GDPR Compliance feature that allows you to request consent before loading the maps APIs.
The notice is customizable as you may edit the Company Name, Retention Purposes, agree button label and the contents of the notice.

Thanks, that's all I need to know to buy your plugin. Btw, you should add the "GDPR complaint" feature to your AppSumo product page. There is so much plugins on AppSumo that claim to be "GDPR complaint" but are not. However, you seem to do it right!
