A: Hi, Thanks for taking an interest in WP Login Lockdown!
WP Login Lockdown gives you ultra-focused, rock-solid login protection wrapped in a lifetime unlimited license โ for a fraction of what Ninja charges yearly.
Plus, its centralized dashboard for managing sites & licenses is ideal for agencies managing many installs. In short: you get the essentials you really need without overpaying for...
Q: The Tier 3 plan says unlimited websites, but license creation says it's limited to 100?
Hi there, the Tier 3 plan says "unlimited websites" but then when adding a license, there was language that says:
Maximum number of active sites is limited by the product you purchased. While you can create 10 licenses with 10 sites max each (giving you a theoretical total of 100 active sites) you won't be able to simultaneously activate more sites than set by your purchase. For purchases with...

A: Hi, If you purchased an unlimited plan, you have unlimited licenses.
Due to security reasons, each license can hold up to 100 sites. But you can create as many licenses as you want :)
So, 100 x unlimited is still unlimited, don't worry!

Does the firewall just block access to the login page or the whole site?
Also, how many IPs are in the banned list, and how often is it updated?
Any plans on adding a malware scanner and a core integrity scanner?

A: Hi, You can choose that in the settings - it is possible to block the entire site or just the login page. There are hundreds of thousands of IPs on the list, and it's regularly updated on a monthly basis. Currently, we do not have plans to add additional scanners.
The firewall works in the background, so there's not much to show :) You can see more details and a few screenshots here: https://wploginlockdown.com/documentation/how-to-use-a-login-form-protection/
I suggest checking all the features that both plugins offer. It's really hard to compare since there are dozens of different features; it all comes back to what features you need.
I do wonder - with the firewall - how can we see what it's blocking or change settings if there is no page to do it from? Will we ever get options? Like whitelist and blacklist options.
I'm also concerned the bad IP list does not get updated that frequently compared to others.
Hi, You can always add IPs to your whitelist and blacklist available on the dashboard.
For details about what the firewall has blocked, there's an activity tab available in the plugin settings. You can see what it looks like here: https://wploginlockdown.com/documentation/how-to-check-activity-blocked-users-and-failed-logins/
Hi, is it possible to enforce strong passwords with the plugin?

A: Hi, Thanks for taking an interest in WP Login Lockdown!
There is a "Password Check" feature that allows you to check if any of the registered users has a weak password that can be vulnerable to common attacks. But unfortunately, you can't enforce strong passwords on them via the plugin.

I also cannot see any screenshots of the firewall feature on your website.

Oh, also, is it good at NOT blocking Google/Bing bots or real users?
Yes, it is :)

Thanks for that! Do you think this is a good plugin to replace Wordfence? I am looking at comparing with WP Security Ninja that is on AppSumo.

Hi Ivan, got it, thanks.
Q: Can it be set so Captcha displays for suspicious users/bots on pages other than login page?
Hi,
Can this be set up to ask users/bots for Captcha on pages other than the login page?
E.g., if a user opens many tabs in quick succession.

Thanks for taking an interest in WP Login Lockdown.
Unfortunately, no, that's not possible. You can only use it on the login page.
