Launched over six years ago, WP Reset is a stable, tried & tested tool that gets regular updates and new features. Two latest, 2025 updates feature a rewritten cloud storage module and the long awaited Snapshot Staging feature. It allows users to turn any snapshot into a live, fully functional staging copy of the site, deployed inside a subfolder. This simplifies testing updates, plugins, or other changes in a safe, isolated environment without affecting the live site.

New Staging Feature!

The staging features gives you the ability to deploy a staging copy of their site with one-click. It's hosting independent and only requires you to have enough space to fit a copy of the site. You can then tinker with the staging copy, test things, and once you're done delete it without affecting the main site.

This feature will be soon further expanded with the ability to deploy a staging copy from any snapshot that you have previously saved. Giving you the option to test a previously saved copy of the site before restoring it, or to just grab some piece of the site (maybe 2 paragraphs of text from some page) you had a few weeks ago without the need to restore the whole thing.
