After loading the original snapshot, the posts and pages will return in a state from the day you created the snapshot.

Ah, I think I understand what that entails. A full backup of posts and pages means relying on the database or exporting the XML at best but a snapshot is tied to WP Reset. If the snapshot is gone then so will all posts and pages. The reset however is VERY good.
