This is a Life Saver!
WordPress is an exceptional CMS for building websites as it gives you more versatilities owing to the avalanche of both free and premium plugins you can use to extend the functionalities of your website.
However, this comes with a huge problem. Plugin developers may stop updating their plugins or completely abandon them if they are not profitable to them. I have bought several plugins from Code Canyons which I use on my sites but unfortunately, the developers have stopped supporting them. This implies that such plugins will not be compatible with the latest Wordpress.
Furthermore, I always do "the sign of the cross" before updating any plugin because I do not know what may happen afterwards. When it goes well, I feel exhilarated. When it goes bad, the hard job starts. I can always back up my sites before any update but this takes a lot of time to backup and restore especially if it is a very large site.
With WP Reset, my problem is OVER! WP reset takes an auto backup of your website before any changes to it "without you knowing". When things go wrong, you can revert back easily without the long-winded "restore backup" process I used to use with Updraft Plus.
Stated below are my five best functions of this plugin:
(1) Reset website to a fresh Wordpress install.
(2) Auto snapshot of your website/database before any plugin or theme is installed/deleted.
(3) Auto install collections of plugins and themes to several development websites.
(4) Enabling plugin/theme licenses to clients' sites without actually revealing them to the clients. (one of my clients was stealing my Elementor Pro site licenses. He is cooked!)
(5) Emergency recovery URL and password to recover my website if I am hacked or my website is unreachable or my wp-admin url is gone white.
(6) Ability to either save to the WPReset Cloud or use my own cloud service.
As a developer, this plugin is a must. Hence, 5 stars.
