A: Hi, Is the GUI translated into any languages other than English? Sorry, no. But it supports all languages. It doesn't matter what language your site is in; it'll work fine.
If one has Elementor with built-in recaptcha support, how does WP Captcha differ in function? Thank you!

A: Hi, Elementor’s built-in CAPTCHA is primarily a form-level spam protection feature for Elementor Forms. WP Captcha is a broader security plugin with many more CAPTCHA-related features.
For example, Elementor will help you protect only its forms, whereas WP Captcha allows you to place CAPTCHA on any form you want.
Also, Elementor only offers Google reCAPTCHA v2/v3, while WP Captcha gives you...
Q: Will this integrate well with Forminator forms or the new Divi form module?
I frequently use Forminator because they're free to use up to a certain point, that I wouldn't cross because I don't need that feature for basic website forms. I also see that Divi has added a new form module to their lineup, and it would be nice to know what WP Captcha does, and doesn't work with.

A: We don't test with all forms and plugins because there are just too many. However, the universal form support feature works with every single form we've come across so far, so I'm confident it'll work with those as well.
Let me start with pointing out that I own lifetimedeals to pretty much all of your plugins.
1) I was hoping to get something as reliable as hcaptcha. Yet in your docu ur stating: hCaptcha: High Security, Requires API Keys, GDPR Compatible (Best Choice) - instead of your built in system - Why? (Built-in Captcha: Medium Security, No API keys, GDPR Compatible)
2) How database hoggy is this plugin?...

A: Thank you for your continuous support! 1) Well, we could have said our CAPTCHA is the best thing since hot water, but it's not. It's really that simple. For 90%+ of use cases, it's more than adequate. But if you get attacked by a swarm of AI bots, then the difference in how much spam gets through will show. 2) Things are only saved to the DB; no file option. They are always kept for the last 30...
I noticed (changelog) the last update dates back to March 2025. Do you have any idea what's still planned and whether there's a roadmap available?

A: Hi, This release (yesterday) was a big update we've been working on for months. It introduced a lot of new features (like AI monitoring, CAPTCHA locks, trend analysis, recommendations, etc.), bug fixes, and performance improvements, etc., but we just haven't updated the changelog yet :)
Hi Ivan, I'd really like to get rid of Google reCAPTCHA altogether, but am I right in thinking that if I want stronger protection for my client's website and choose WP Captcha, I still need to create Google reCAPTCHA keys/API for the client? Or can I rely solely on WP Captcha without needing any Google reCAPTCHA integration at all?
If you want reCAPTCHA, you need per-site keys. No way around it. But for 98% of use cases, the built-in CAPTCHA + other protection features are more than adequate.
