4bfdd0a7e5584b4d8a1ff798ac3bc1f2Q: One of the biggest reasons WriterZen stood out from all the tools is the availability of Ahrefs data and the Golden Keyword Filtering.
Last week I received two emails from WriterZen. In the second clarification email, I notice the following:
"The Ahrefs data is no longer available for two specific reasons:
These data are not entirely practical in generating article ideas for SEO users
Ahrefs no longer gives us access to their API!"
The data is now from Google, and it doesn't contain the AllInTitle data and hence the Golden Keyword Filtering. I've been recommending the tool to my subscribers for this very reason. But very disappointed to see that we no longer have access to a feature that led us to buy the tool in the first place.
Three questions to WriterZen:
1. Is there a way to get the Golden Score now?
2. Do you have plans of bringing that back anytime soon?
3. What is the best alternative to getting the Golden Score using WriterZen today?

1/ Is there a way to get the Golden Score now?
- We changed the name of Allintiltle to Golden Filter. The Golden Filter is available in both Keyword Explorer and Keyword Importer, which you can find out in the Keyword Data table. You should enable it before cluster and I recommend you should do it in the Keyword importer.
2. Do you have plans of bringing that back anytime soon?
- We made the decision to stop sharing that data and instead create our own algorithm. I recognize that our decision may be contentious in the near term, but it will be good to our long-term survival and progress.
3. What is the best alternative to getting the Golden Score using WriterZen today?
Removing Ahrefs data has no effect on any characteristics, including the Golden Score. You may use it normally.

The Sumo-ling did the community a great service by asking these excellent questions here to help others who purchased Writerzen, as well as people like me, who were on the fence about investing in your product. Jeff, I have to be honest here - I feel you missed an opportunity to be transparent about what's going on with what appears to be a major change in your product offering and capability. I woke up at 4 am PST time to make a decision on whether or not to purchase, as the deal was ending at 6 am for non-AS Plus members. I was primarily interested in Writerzen because of AS reviewers loving the golden filter and the data that was being pulled from Ahrefs. With these things in question and no clear answers regarding how Writerzen will be affected, I decided not to purchase. I understand unforeseen things happen and perhaps there are no clear answers at the moment. For me, an open, transparent answer from you, even if it wasn't the best news, would have made all the difference. I hope my feedback will help you consider being more forthright and transparent with the Sumolings who believed in Writerzen enough to invest in it. They deserve straight answers, at the very least.
I'm also interested in the answers to those questions. Could you please paste them here too?
