MacOS Won’t Install & iOS buggy
The macOS onboarding installation hangs at the permissions to insert text. When I go back and fix all the permissions myself under Accessibility, etc., it still won't install itself under the Microphone. No listing under microphone, and there's no plus sign to add it. Still unresolved.
The iOS works but is buggy. The swipe to the side to initate is inconsistant and sometimes doesn't record. It regularly requires several attempts to record in an app or any AI which is very frustrating.
I was happy with VoiceDash but refunded it for WriteVoice based on reviews. Dissapointed.

May 27, 2026Hi! It's unfortunate that you didn't get a chance to go inside the app. What you described is not an issue with WriteVoice but rather Apple 🫠
1. You can restart your device (iOS or desktop)
2. Reinstall the app
I guarded against this specific issue as much as I can during the onboarding flow, so you fell as part of the 1% who deal with this and so far only you 😅
As for the ios app, the swipe might not be for your which is fine, would be grateful though to have an idea on what iPhone you're using and what happened exactly that you needed to restart multiple times? Thanks!
