Credits are limited by day not month
I bought tier 1 to test, and to my surprise, the limits are set by day, not by month, for the pro and ultimate models. These limits are even lower than the daily limits on ChatGPT or Claude’s free tier. You can spend more and buy a higher tier to increase your daily limits, but it was not clearly stated here that this tool uses daily limits instead of monthly ones. This means I am significantly limited by the number of queries I can use. See below for the notifications I received when I used up my limit and could no longer use the tool for pro or ultimate models.
"You've used 18 of your 10 daily pro messages in your AppSumo plan. Try again tomorrow"
"You've used 2 of your 1 daily ultimate messages in your AppSumo plan. Try again tomorrow"
The tool does not seem to work with live search either. I tested multiple free models after I ran out of credits for pro and ultimate, and all of them replied saying they cannot fetch real-time data or news. So how do I use this tool? Overall, I am disappointed that search does not work and daily limits were not mentioned in this deal here.

Edited Apr 11, 2026You're right — the daily limits on Tier 1 were too low and we should have been upfront about them on the listing. That's on us.
We've already shipped an update: Tier 1 daily limits went from 10 Pro/day and 1 Ultimate/day to 30 Pro/day and 5 Ultimate/day. Same monthly pool, much more usable days. We're also updating the AppSumo listing to clearly show daily limits for each tier.
We've also renamed "Free" models to "Basic" — no model is actually free for us to serve, and the old naming created confusion for both Sumolings and us. Basic models have a higher daily message allowance but they are still a cost to us.
For web search — it should work on all models. Try asking something explicit like "find events near [your city] for today" and the model will trigger a search. We don't disable search on any model — the LLM decides when to search based on your prompt. If you don't
explicitly ask for real-time info, it might not search on its own. Also keep in mind that cheaper models are more prone to hallucinating — they may say "I can't search" when they actually can, or give outdated answers instead of searching. Switching to a Pro model like
GPT-5 or Claude Sonnet will give you much more reliable search results.
