It used to be good
I purchased the XInterview license in 2024, and back then it did exactly what it promised: reliable async video interviews.
However, over the last 2 months, I’ve noticed a lot of bugs and critical issues, even with basic video playback. Candidates apply, but their videos don't show up on our dashboard. When we reach out to support, we are simply asked to inform the candidates to retake the interview. It feels highly unfair to ask candidates to re-record after they’ve already spent 15–20 minutes doing it right the first time.
To give you an idea of the scale, on one of our recent job links, about 15 people completed their video recordings, but not a single one was visible on our end.
I really hope the team fixes these core stability issues and brings the app back to being the reliable tool it used to be.

After reviewing your account, we found that this was the first time you had contacted our support team in nearly two years of using the platform. Today your issue was reported, our team investigated it immediately and resolved it on the same day.
Based on our investigation, the problem occurred after a job was cloned and the cloning process was interrupted due to a network issue. As a result, candidate recordings were not linked correctly to the cloned job, which caused the issues you experienced.
You have been using XInterview successfully for nearly two years, and during that time the platform has supported your hiring process without major issues. This incident was related to a specific job-cloning error affecting a single job and was not a broader platform-wide reliability issue. Once reported, our team identified the root cause and resolved it as quickly as possible.
No software platform is completely free from issues. What matters is how quickly and effectively those issues are addressed. We continuously improve XInterview by releasing new features, enhancements, and fixes on a regular basis. Providing responsive support and delivering ongoing value to our customers remains one of our highest priorities.
