More Beta Than Better
I hire a lot and was hoping this could replace my monthly bill for AsyncInterview.ai. Picked up one code - because if a tool’s solid, that’s usually all it takes. Spoiler: not this time.
Backend:
It’s giving MVP energy. The dashboard feels half-baked, there’s no bulk upload for questions, and the “AI question generator” is more comic relief than useful. But the biggest miss? No SMTP or Gmail connection with a single code. Email should be basic plumbing, not a premium feature. If you’re going to talk about AI, at least let me send an email without begging for more codes.
Frontend:
Actually… not bad. The candidate-facing side looks clean and professional, and I like that it gives them prep time before answering. This part feels like a different team built it - one that actually cared.
Verdict:
Has potential, but it’s not ready for prime time. I refunded it faster than I could say “feature roadmap.” For now, I’ll stick with AsyncInterview and keep my blood pressure in check.

Regarding the bulk question feature, it’s actually already available. After generating questions through AI, you can easily select multiple questions at once. We also have an exclusive feature called Question Templates, where you can choose from pre-made sets for faster setup.
As for the SMTP feedback, we really appreciate your input. We’ll definitely take your suggestion into consideration. I’m excited to share that we’re already working on a major AI update coming next month, which will make the platform even more powerful and feature-rich!
Just to clarify, our platform is not in beta or MVP stage. It’s a fully functional product that continues to improve based on valuable user feedback like yours.
