Vibe coded for 1 week and then abandoned?
I have to say I'm genuinely disappointed by what I need to write as a review for this application.
👉🏻 Xinterview has nothing to do with Prospect'In (Waalaxy)
Contrary to what he claims on his roadmap, the founder of Xinterview has absolutely no connection with the Prospect'In/Waalaxy team, which is highly successful and therefore very reassuring. I reached out to one of Prospect'In's co-founders and he confirmed that he has no affiliation with Xinterview whatsoever.
👉🏻 False G2 awards
On their website, they claim to have received numerous awards on the G2 platform, which is not the case at all. When I purchased a lifetime license on AppSumo for this software, these awards displayed on their website obviously played a significant and reassuring role in my decision. Since then, lies and suspicious behaviors have gradually accumulated.
👉🏻 False promises about platform updates
The first lie was claiming in February 2025 and in October 2025 that a major update was being prepared with advanced AI integration on the platform. More than two months have passed and there hasn't been the slightest evolution of the platform. Absolutely none. Not a single email from the company to its users either. Nothing at all.
👉🏻 Questionable team composition
But that's not all. I tried to contact the founder and realized that there are no other employees for this company on LinkedIn. None. Yet they wrote to me saying that nine developers were working on this platform, which is particularly surprising when you see that the platform isn't evolving at all.
I tried contacting the founder on LinkedIn, WhatsApp, and by email 2 months ago. Same thing—nothing at all. Not a single response.
👉🏻 Unresolved technical issues
The last and biggest disappointment is, of course, the fifty or so bugs I've identified on this platform. I've systematically reported them with screenshots and maximum detail to technical support—though I'm not sure you can call it technical support since it's just the software's chat feature. Not a single bug has been fixed in the past two months and they confirmed to me last night that none of the 30+ bugs I reported to them will be fixed.
All of this together convinces me that this is an application that was probably quickly coded in a week and is no longer being developed at all today, and probably hasn't been for a very long time, possibly since its launch. There's therefore a huge discrepancy between the image being projected by what is certainly the sole person behind this company and what it actually is.
I'm therefore naturally starting to doubt the reviews that have been published here and there, because I can't believe for a second that this accumulation of bugs hasn't caused problems for other users as well.
Finally, I want to clarify that a phone call or screen-sharing session wouldn't fix all the bugs on your platform. I'm not a user who doesn't know how to use the software. I know perfectly well how to use it. Everything I've reported to you consists mainly of bugs that need to be resolved urgently on your end (around 35 to 40 bugs) and 10 to 15 suggestions to improve the application.

Jan 22, 2026We respectfully disagree with this characterization and would like to clarify several important points.
👉🏻 Regarding G2 awards:
All G2 awards displayed on our website are legitimately earned and published by G2 in their quarterly reports. These reports are publicly available and can be independently verified directly on the G2 platform. We would never claim or display awards we have not received.
👉🏻 Regarding platform updates and AI integration:
We have been actively improving the platform, with updates typically released every 15 days. While some updates may not always be highly visible on the surface, they include backend improvements, bug fixes, performance optimizations, and feature enhancements.
👉🏻 Regarding team composition:
This is not a one-person company. Developing a product is not an easy task—it requires significant effort, dedication, and continuous work day and night from the entire team. Team size does not define the quality, legitimacy, or capability of a product. We are a highly motivated team, full of energy, and actively building, maintaining, and improving the platform on an ongoing basis.
👉🏻 Regarding communication and support:
Our support team has consistently offered to arrange a one-on-one call or demo with the founding team to address concerns in detail, including technical issues and the product roadmap. Unfortunately, we did not receive confirmation to proceed with a call.
We also found no record of LinkedIn messages or emails reaching the founding team. Founders do not publicly share WhatsApp numbers, so contact through that channel would not be possible. It is likely there was a misunderstanding or an attempt to contact an incorrect account.
👉🏻 Regarding reported bugs:
No platform is perfect—every product improves over time, and we continuously work on enhancements. We genuinely appreciate the time and effort taken to share feedback. After reviewing the feedback, the majority of reported already present on the platform, feature requests, or future enhancements rather than critical bugs. That said, we have been actively fixing issues and rolling out improvements.
👉🏻 Regarding professional images:
Using AI to enhance professional images is a common and widely accepted industry practice and does not indicate anything misleading or suspicious.
We value all user feedback and remain fully committed to improving our product. Our team is always available through our official support channels, and we remain open to a direct conversation to address any concerns in detail.
Best regards,
The XInterview Team
