Q: Film

I have an hour film that I made in 2006. I did some sound editing to clean it up. The movie sounds ok now but I would like it to sound better. I no longer have the original audio just the edited audio. The volume of the sound is low and when I raise it it sounds a little distorted. Each scene in the movie filmed in different places. I was wondering if I import the hour long movie will this able to make the entire movie sound good or would I need to cut each scene individually?

A: Yes, it should be able to improve the entire recording. But keep in mind it removes background noise as well, including music, bird noises etc.
