Q: I already left a 5-star review after testing the product, but today it actually paid off for me - big time.
I shoot content for YouTube/TikTok/etc. and use a Rode Videomic Go for audio. That mic is hit-or-miss, and lately it's been missing hard. Seriously, don't buy that POS mic; every video I record now has a horrendous clicking sound all the way through that makes the footage literally unusable. But I've got deadlines to meet and couldn't afford to put off filming... which is why I'm now SO grateful for Xound. It completely saved my footage by removing the electronic interference sounds and allowed me to get my work done without having to wait for a new mic. This tool is quite literally like magic, and the limits even on T1 are extremely generous - way more than I'd ever hit.
My only suggestion for the product is that I do wish it could handle larger video sizes (2GB is current max), or if that is impossible, at least allow for some sort of queue to bulk process. I have a lot of footage to get through and tend to record in 15-20 minute chunks; so it can be a bit tedious to chop these up and upload/process one at a time.
But seriously, get Xound. It could save you a lot of headache in the future!
