Made the same Mistake Twice! Bought TWO - Tier 2's and... Regrets!

I have two purchases for this product. In addition to not honoring their commitments and changing the credit system without notice—now short-form videos cost more than before—they recently lost a lot of old data and videos. The product has major issues with older creations from before the update: support is unwilling to refund credits for the period when the system was unusable, users must re-render or redo old projects, and most older creations cannot be edited.

I'm not the only one, many Plus members have the same challenges.

Thanks for the update, but I’m still confused. The information they gave about the changes suggests Tier 2 is “Super Cat,” since it allows 30 videos. Yet, you mentioned, “All Sumo-lings are tied to the Cat Plan, and we’ve updated the deal page to reflect this.” So which is it? The plan we were forced into doesn’t seem to match either version.
It feels like Zebracat has done a bait-and-switch and convinced AppSumo otherwise. The deal terms don’t add up. If we’re supposed to be on “Cat Mode,” then all future Cat Mode features should be available to us. So why do I have 30 videos but no AI credits?
Changing the deal copy after the fact is unfair, especially since we weren’t notified in time to consider a refund when the terms changed. I bought two deals, expecting:
Lifetime access to Zebracat
All future Cat Mode plan updates (should have been Super Cat as per deal terms)
All future AI model updates
If the plan name changes, our deal would map to the new plan with all updates
But I don’t even see the plan name on their site.

Looking at my account snapshot, I’m labeled “Super Cat” but don’t actually get super-cat features.

Their current pricing model is a confusing hybrid that fits neither the original Tier 2 nor Cat Mode.

In summary, my account is labeled Super Cat, yet:
Why don’t I have any AI credits?
Why do I have 30 videos instead of 15 or 40? (suggesting a scaled down plan for Sumolings)

Why only one voice clone allowed if we’re supposed to get 10 brand kits, each with its own voice?

There are too many inconsistencies between what we purchased and what we actually got. It feels like AppSumo supporters are stuck with a limited plan that benefits Zebracat’s bottom line, not the terms we agreed on.

The plan names didn’t simply change—they went back on their word. This is disappointing.

Credit bait-and-switch
Original credits were replaced by a 30-videos/month cap and separate AI-scene credits. This cuts value of lifetime deals especially where most of my videos were shorts and didn't consume credits like long form, now I'm stuck with 30 videos when I was able to get about 50.

Poor video quality & sync
Images out of sync with audio; AI faces distorted; stock clips often don’t match the script.

No post-generation edits
You can’t change text, captions, TTS voice, or music after generating — fixes force you to recreate and waste credits.

Caption and format issues
Captions missing, unreadable, or not editable. Aspect ratios and exports jump unpredictably.

Music controls missing
No trim, fade, or volume controls; music ends abruptly with no scene-level editing.

Stability and export failures
Crashes, slow loading, failed exports, and capacity problems during peaks.

Poor support and billing confusion
Slow or no responses. Unclear whether AppSumo lifetime deals retain original commitments.

Bad AI iteration workflow
AI picks irrelevant assets, misreads prompts, and re-runs consume credits with no draft/preview option.
