Returning Catch All Emails as VALID

I verified about 1000 emails or so using Zerobounce and 700 came back as "valid" once I put them in the campaign I had over a 2.5% bounce rate. I reached out to support and they said they were catch all emails that cannot be 100% verified.... Fine, I get that BUT WHY would you return a VALID STATUS.

That makes no sense to me. I won't be using zero bounce ever again.

Hi Evan,

Thank you for your question.

My colleague has responded to your email, and we will need a response to it so that we can see why these emails have bounced, we will need further details so that we can help!

Also I want to assure you that a bounce rate of 2,5% is really low and your reputation will not be affected. If a bounce rate goes overt 5% after this number your reputation will be...

This is a very reliable list verification tool

I've used several list verification tools in the past. But the biggest problem with a lot of them is that they don't do a perfect job. Result: valid addresses risked being unsubscribed (the way I like to treat email addresses that might bounce). If you want to stand out as an email marketeer (and avoid remarks like 'I just mailed that person at the address you mention as invalid'), ZeroBounce is the way to go. Plus: they offer several extra functionalities, what makes it a really complete toolset for email marketeers.

One of the best

This is my like 5th email validating software. It was always something missing or not working. Most of the software is just a trash. This one is a gem amongs other similar LTD. Worth every penny spent. I just works! It integrates with wordpress seamlessly. Purchase of the year.

Feeling Confident with ZeroBounce

I had a previous email validation tool and in the last 2 days purchased ZeroBounce and Reooon. My previous tool: Email Validation List has been sufficient until just recently and it may be a fluke, but I need to change CRM platforms so ran all my contact in their system and 64% were "unknown". Ran it again and it gave slightly better results but considering most of mine have been for gift giveaways and knowing I had open rates better than that I didn't feel confident, so I purchased Reoon. Way, way better, and while there weren't too many "unknowns" - before I uploaded them to my new system, I just wanted to be sure, so purchased Zero Bounce. It only validated a few more, just a few, so Reoon was just fine for validation purposes.

Then as I was playing around with ZeroBounce, I saw their scoring tool. Originally I was just going to run the unknowns through them, but decided to run my entire list and glad I did. When you switch to a new platform, there is a warmup process one should go through and you want to minimize bounce rates. With the scoring, I was able to tag each contact by score, I completely deleted the few that had a score of 0, and as I begin to send emails, I'll start with 9's and 10's and go from there. So while I'll use them as a secondary check, the scoring tool is so helpful and that part alone deserves 5 Tacos!
