Q: Klaviyo Integration, Comparison with Gorgias, AI Separation
I was ready to pair a tool like Vanchat with Gorgias (a dedicated product recommendation AI chat with a fully featured customer service platform); however, Zipchat looks like an intriguing alternative.
1) A big consideration for us is whether you plan to integrate directly with Klaviyo? As the gold standard in ecom email marketing, it's an established & super-powerful way to sync data between all my tools, & allow the chatbot to update customer details etc (Zapier doesn't come close to a deep integration like Gorgias has).
2) I'm also keen to know whether there is the ability to 'separate' the AI from real customer service reps, so there is a clear distinction eg naming your chatbot a custom name & then the customer knows when it is being transferred to an agent.
3) Any plans to integrate with a calling platform or add call functionality?

1/ Klaviyo Integration
Yes, this is on our roadmap. We do not compete with Klaviyo. We see it as a strong complementary integration.
Shoppers share valuable insights in conversations such as purchase intent, objections, and preferences. Our goal is to sync this data into Klaviyo so you can improve segmentation, trigger smarter flows, and personalize email and WhatsApp campaigns more effectively.
2/ Dynamic Chatbot Name (AI vs Human)
At the moment, the chatbot name does not change automatically when a human takes over. The agent would introduce themselves manually.
You are not the first to request this feature, and I have upvoted it internally. Zipchat already sets expectations when a chat is escalated, but we understand the value of making this more seamless.
3/ Voice Channel
Voice is planned.
Next on the roadmap is TikTok integration, followed by Voice as part of our channel expansion.

+1 For prioritizing Klaviyo and allowing for a Dynamic Chatbot Name eg be able to set up custom AI agents like this "Hi this is the storename AI at your service, I am trained to help with X, X and X", "Happy to pass you on to our Customer service team at any point"

You can already prompt the agent to introduce itself exactly like that. Something like "Hi, I'm the [StoreName] AI, trained to help with X, Y and Z, and happy to pass you on to our customer service team at any point" is totally doable today through the system prompt. No need to wait for a feature update for that part! 🙌

Actually, Zipchat already works well with Klaviyo ( especially if you are using Shopify as they act as the central data hub )
Here's what works
