Just starting ... but might get great!

To be honest, if SapphireWolf would not have given more then two tacos, I think I would only have given four tacos. I like Sapphire Wolfs reviews very much and he often gets it on the point, but in this special case it feels like he focussed on something that is not really important to me: The Collaboration on Websites. And it feels like I want to bring it "in balance".

While I totally agree on his review, my focus is much more on "asynchron communication" and Zooc gives a great vision of what the future could bring. The first moment I saw it I understood this concept of communication.

Every "topic" that a team could discuss about is like "one card". It starts with a video, a text, an image or anything, but naturally for a communication the "start with a video" feels like it´s the best starting-point. Now, after the communication is startet, everybody can add input. Every Team-Member can add or record his own video or add a text or a link or an image. For me this is not a "object-collaboration-tool" but much more a "team-communication-basis.

In addition to that, every single of this "topics" is catched in a card that can be sorted in a kanban-view. I LOVE this conecpt. It´s like when I have 100s of topics in a team of 12 persons and everybody wants to focus on something else, with this kind of communiation you can. I can imagine this way teams with hundreds of persons can communicate fluently and by the asynchron effect it is not really time-consuming in terms of organisation. Once a topic is done it goes into the "done"-tab of the kanban-view and that´s it. I LOVE this concept!

On top of this the team seems to be so passionate about the product and the deal-terms seem so fair, they are not so much "business-sharks" but much more "passionate product-developers" so I really want to support it and it feels like "investing" in a good Idea and not like "buying a software".

But right, there are many downs. I directly bought it, redeemed the codes and I found myself in a very young and buggy backend. The cards can´t be dragged, the webcam-recording did not work and many other issues. So for me this software is really an "investment" and the 5 tacos are describing that I insanely hope that this software will grow and grow as the Idea is so great.

Last thought , and I was close to reducing one taco:
Your first code brings 12 users. The second code brings additional 48 users. And every additional code brings another 10 users. For 690 Dollars we get only 140 Users.

While the Storage is limited it should not be that risky for you to add way more users. And I would love to give all of my customers the possibility to jump in on some discussions. So adding something like 60 more users for every code would spread your software much more and you can still be safe as you have your limits in the Storage.

All the best, Julian!

Hello Julian,

Thank you so very much for your love, support and feedback.

We love this community for the reason that lovely Sumolings like your self invest on the team and idea not the current state of the software.

My apologies for all the bugs, we are a young self funded startup and we are working over 60 hours a week to resolve all of the bugs. Infact we are just hiring one more developer to speed up the process.

We noted your suggestion on the number of users, thanks a lot.

I am the CEO and cofounder of Zooc and am working remotely for over ten years now. What I discovered is that the best communication is asynchronous specially for distributed teams over different time zones. Specially when equiped with rich mediums like voice, video and annnotation.

You guessed it right, we are not business sharks. I am a developer for the last 18 years and have been an agency owner for the past 10 years.

Please let me know if there was any issues I could personally help with.

Sincerely,
Aemal Sayer
