Q: Hi, this reads like you where reading my mind (and that of many other solopreneurs).
A few questions:'
1) Is Dunning available/planned?
2) Do email / newsletter subscription (sign-up form) allow custom fields for e.g. allowing users to sign up for additional categories or different languages? (rather "hoping" they visit the other landing pages manually to sign-up there as well)
3. OneTimeSetup, ebooks/digital download, Service, ... all these things got different VAT in Germany. Will you respect individual items VAT settings as I cross-sell/create packages?
4. Did I miss something: Are you actually act as MoR or why is it every other review compares your to Gumroad and Lemonsqueezy? (who act as MoR and therefore obviously come at a different price / comission tag - a heavy one but still cheaper than juggling with a german tax officer 🤣). I think thats not compareable, however, I'd onboard immidiately even at a 5% commission if you'd act as a MoR and get the most worrying bit, juggling with Taxes in Europe, out of my way.
5. Total revenue includes recurring revenue, right?
6. Is there sort of Customer dashboard? (where / how do paying members actually manage their subscription? How/where will email list subscribers unsubscribe? Where do I get an overview on whats going on (sort of lightweight "CRM" built-in or would I still need to merge data from paid members, email lists subscribers, ... in a different portal? That part is totally not clear to me.

Jun 9, 2024A: Hi there,
1. Dunning is planned, it's a slightly more advanced feature which will take some time to implement.
2. Yes, under Settings > Custom Fields.
3. VAT is one rate as of now, you can see what rate the system applies by enabling taxes under Setting > Tax. If you want to set up more granular taxes, please drop us an email at [email protected], and we'll figure it out.
4. No, we're not an MoR, and also we're not exactly the ones who call ourselves an alternative to Gumroad/Lemonsqueezy -- our customers are. We're called an alternative to those services because we basically provide a platform to sell goods and services. Not every user (in fact not most users) has a pressing need for an MoR.
5. Yes, it includes recurring revenue.
6. They'll get a link to a management portal when they subscribe -- you can resend this link anytime from your Subscriptions page.
Please let me know if you have any other questions, I'd be happy to help.
With thanks,
Jay
