Q: User variables
Hi, does Zylvie support dynamically inserting user-specific registration data like their name, email address, etc. directly into embed links using built-in variables, e.g., through URL parameters?
Thank you.

Aug 7, 2025A: Hi there,
Yes, we support that.
So far we support prepopulating names and emails so that the user doesn't need to fill that up again.
Are there any other parameters that you might need?
With thanks,
Jay
First, Last, Email
Using Gumlet to host videos for course. Supports dynamic watermarking of videos. They can display IP, but other params also by adding watermark_text parameter to embed URL
Key req is having environment where you can run code that accepts user acct info and passes it into embedded video URL. Ex: play.gumlet.io/embed/{video_id}?watermark_text=John Smith,user_id
Supported? Thx
Hi there,
You should be able to integrate Gumlet with Zylvie via Zapier, see:
https://zapier.com/apps/zylvie/integrations/gumlet
And yes, we can pass whatever parameters you want after purchase.
With thanks,
Jay
Thanks, Jay. But would we still need a separate course hosting platform? I understand you are saying we can connect Zylvie to Gumlet, and pass the parameters. That's great. But does Zylvie only act as the checkout software, or would customers also be able to access their online course content (in our case, just private videos hosted on Gumlet, and PDFs for workbooks) directly via Zylvie alone?
Hi there,
I'm not familiar with what Gumlet is or how it works.
But you'll need a separate course platform for now to deliver the course content.
You can automatically grant them access to Gumlet links via success emails that are automatically sent upon purchase on Zylvie.
If your course content are a downloadable, then yes we can handle that as well -- we auto-send the download links.

Ok, thank you. Gumlet is a video hosting service, similar to Vimeo. It was a popular LTD here on Appsumo. It offers advanced features like DRM, dynamic watermarking (if it can receive the parameters as discussed earlier), etc.
