Hi, I’m interested in Tier 3 mainly because of the BYOK feature. Does BYOK support custom OpenAI-compatible providers, not just predefined providers like OpenAI or OpenRouter?
By OpenAI-compatible, I mean being able to manually enter a custom API endpoint/base URL, API key, and model ID, similar to how many third-party AI services expose an OpenAI-compatible API.
If this is not currently supported, is custom OpenAI-compatible provider support planned for the future?

Oct 9, 2026A: Yes, as of today. On T3 and T4 you can connect any OpenAI-compatible endpoint: go to Settings → AI & Voice → Your own API key (BYOK) → Custom, then enter your base URL (e.g. https://api.groq.com/openai/v1), an API key (optional) and a model ID. If the endpoint lists its models, we show them in a searchable picker. A "Test model" button checks chat, JSON output and tool calls before you save.
Two limits: the endpoint must be public https (no localhost or private networks), and models without tool calling can make the agent unreliable. Your email content goes to the endpoint you enter, so pick a host you trust. BYOK uses no AI Emaily credits.
