A: Great question, and there are two things going on here.

Part of it is just sync time. The Artifact Library fills itself in as the extension works through your Claude history in the background, one conversation at a time. It's paced deliberately so Claude doesn't rate-limit us, so on an account with hundreds of conversations the full sweep takes a while. Finding only 4 so far means it's still early in that process. To let it catch up: keep a Claude tab open and give it time - the sweep only runs while claude.ai is open, and the library refreshes as new artifacts land. That count should climb.

But part of it is what actually counts as an "artifact," and I want to be straight with you about this. Per Anthropic's own definition, a Claude Artifact is specifically one of these: a Markdown or plain-text document, a code snippet, a single-page HTML site, an SVG image, a diagram or flowchart, or an interactive React component. Those are the things that open in Claude's Artifacts panel, and those are what the library captures. Your HTML ones fall squarely in that set and will show up as the sync progresses.

PowerPoint (.pptx) and .zip files aren't Claude Artifacts in that sense - Anthropic treats those as files Claude generates through its code/file-creation tool and that you download separately, not as artifacts shown in the panel. Because they're a different kind of thing under the hood, they won't appear in the library, and that's a boundary of the Artifacts feature itself rather than something waiting to sync in.

Short version: leave Claude open and the library will keep filling in your documents, code, HTML, SVG, diagram, and React artifacts. The PowerPoint and zip files sit outside what Claude classifies as an artifact, so they won't be captured.
