The core difference is that Amical runs a real local AI model alongside cloud, and we're open source. Three things follow from that:

1. Every plan includes unlimited local transcription - tier word limits only apply to cloud. No other tool on AppSumo offers this as far as we know.
2. We can't really "go out of business" on you. Open source + local means you'll always have access to Amical, no matter what happens to us.
3. An active user and contributor community keeps adding support for new AI models as they come out - and we make it easy to access them right inside the app.

On the business side: we've been building this for almost a year, currently process 200M+ words/month and growing fast, and we're profitable with a large active user base.

On speed and accuracy - as a voice AI company, we run our own customised voice AI models on our own GPUs, purpose-built for dictation. We strive to deliver the fastest and most accurate transcription out there, and it keeps getting better every week, because we're not just shipping an app, we're shipping the models behind it too.
