It works with VPN, but policies vary when it comes to corporate VPNs, and sometimes IT departments have various endpoints blocked. The best way to check if it works for your specific corporate VPN would be to download and try it out.
Otherwise we have tested it with Proton VPN, Nord VPN, etc, and we haven't seen any issues.
