So I thought I would write a review. It's earlier than I anticipated, but it's definitely worthwhile.

So I've tried some of the other voice apps that have been on AppSumo. So I currently have tried three of them, the most recent one being Blip.ai. VoiceDash was the first one I bought and while it has shown some promise, it's nowhere near the quality that I've seen from Amical. If I was to put them in order, it would be Amical first, second VoiceDash, and third Blip.ai. In fact, I've actually refunded Blip.ai due to the amount of bugs that I was experiencing with that particular product. The speed and accuracy of Amical has impressed me the most. So much so that Amical has now replaced VoiceDash as my primary app on my Android devices. It's the only app so far that's managed to handle quite complex wordings and quite complex names that both of the other two apps struggled with. I'm happy to keep VoiceDash as a backup, but just for those that are sitting on the fence between these three, it aligns to what other people have given feedback on. So far, Amical seems to be the most accurate, and it also seems to be the fastest by a long way. In fact, I did a comparison between VoiceDash and Amical in terms of the processing speed, and it was very significant. I've also noticed Amical is the only one that doesn't seem to struggle with long text. So if I'm talking for a very, very long time, most of the other ones struggle. They lose part of the text. In the case of VoiceDash, it always misses the first part. It tends to over-paraphrase. And with Blip.ai, if you talk for too long, it gets all scrambled and misses the last bit, which can be quite frustrating. So far, I haven't experienced this with Amical yet. In fact, I'm writing this review with Amical itself. In terms of the tier, I went for tier two, which is parallel to what I purchased with VoiceDash in terms of the word count. I must admit I'm actually very tempted to go upper tier. And bearing in mind with Blip.ai, I went for the highest tier because I was planning to use the API. But due to inaccuracies, I've decided not to keep it in my stack. So for those of you that would like a very good speech-to-text option, I feel like Amical is one of the best ones out there right now on AppSumo.
