Very good, but...
I am using this application in this scenario. I have a MacBook, I have an iPhone, and I have an Android. I am bilingual with English and Arabic.
The application on the computer is very good, but sometimes once I'm talking in English, it translates my language dictation into Arabic, which I don't want. If I'm dictating in English, I want the dictation to be in English. If I'm dictating in Arabic, it should be in Arabic. I'm not asking the application to translate.
This is number one. Number two, on iPhone and Android, the application needs more improvement. Also, it's taking more time now, like slow ping between talking and transcribing.
The above text was translated into Arabic without me telling that. !

Edited Jun 28, 2026Hi, Thanks for the 5 tacos and the feedback.
Regarding any noticed speed issues, please reach out to us. To our knowledge 90th percentile of our dictation calls are still completing comfortable within 1s. (This was the case earlier too) Would love to understand whats going wrong here. Please reach out over discord at https://amical.ai/community or if you can share a few more details around this via email over at [email protected], that would also help a lot.
Regarding iPhone, and Android, I agree that compared to desktop its quite a bit behind. This week should mostly bridge the gap with snippets, vocabulary, on device history retention etc coming for both iPhone and Android.
Regarding Arabic/English mixup, our understanding right now is that the auto detection (even with languages constrained to 2 languages can sometime mess up. We are trying to collect more numbers around this and will likely give a fast way to switch languages too.
Thanks
