Q: Inquiry about additional benefits in the current AppSumo offer
Hi AppMySite Team,
I hope you're having a great day.
During your last visit to AppSumo, I went all-in and purchased Tier 5, trusting in your project’s value and potential. Yet, here I am with key addons still inactive, requiring a hefty monthly subscription to unlock.
I understand this is part of your business model, but I can’t help but ask: what’s the real benefit of being an “early believer” who supported your tool from the start?
Now that you’re back with a new offer, are there any perks for those of us who already own the highest tier? Would buying extra tickets add value, or would I just be paying more for little return?
I also trust the upcoming PWA functionality will be fully accessible to us, as it was a key reason I invested in Tier 5.
I ask this with all due respect… and genuine curiosity.
We understand your feedback regarding some of our features being available as add-ons. We’d like to explain that while we try to include most features in our LTD, offering some features involves a significant ongoing cost, so they’re made available as recurring add-ons.
Since we’ve been live on AppSumo, many new features and products have been available to AppSumo users. Some of them include –
- Custom app product - Web to app product - New app icon and splash screen maker - Ecommerce event tracking on Google Analytics - Support for custom post types and taxonomies - Advanced web view features …. and so on.
This year, upon noticing the serious demand for our Agency white-label product, we introduced new tiers to offer the product to AppSumo users. In addition, we’ve continued to support AppSumo customers at every step of the way.
We understand you’re currently on the tier 5 plan. Upgrading to tier 6 or higher will give you access to our Agency white-label product. This would enable you to white-label our app-building portal with your branding and domain.
Regarding PWAs – Since this feature is in development, we’re not sure how it would exactly be distributed. We will be able to share more information once we launch the product.
Please feel free to reach out again for more questions.
Hi, I am planning to create a simple app and App My Site looks promising. I have a very simple question, though.
Can I create an app in which the user fills a form, then the app sends the user's answers within a prompt to OpenAI API, and then returns OpenAI's answer to the app?
Also, I guess Tier 2 allows the app to be deployed on AppStore/Google Play Store, right?
Thank you for reaching out and taking an interest in AppMySite.
We don’t currently have a feature that allows you to display an AI chat system within the app. However, you may be able to create a chat tool with third-party software and embed it in the app. Our Custom app product enables you to embed third-party scripts in the app.
If you have a website with an active AI-chat interface, you can also render it in the app with AppMySite’s Web-to-app product.
Please feel free to reach out again for more questions.
I do not want to create a custom app and would rather wait on the Shopify integration, which seems like it has been forever. There has been no movement in at lesat a year. Will we see it in 2025? And when?
The Shopify product is currently marked under ‘Soon’ on our product roadmap. This essentially means our team is working on this feature. While it’s not possible for us to share exact timelines, we can assure you we’re committed to introducing Shopify support on our platform.
In the meantime, you can use our existing Web to app product to convert your Shopify store into an app.
Please feel free to reach out again for more questions.
What is the situation with storing your app once you have created it? I want to create a fitness app that has fitness video routines, can you embed unlisted videos from Vimeo?
We don’t have a storage limit for apps built within the Pay-per-app workspace. You can embed as many videos as you want. Since you’re embedding the videos from another source, the content would be stored with the third party (Vimeo in this case), and not within the app itself.
Yes, you would need access to MacOS to submit your app to the Apple App Store. However, you don’t need a physical Macbook to do this. You can sign up for a cloud Mac service which would allow you to access a virtual MacOS system. You can log in to your Apple developer account in the virtual MacOS system and submit your app.
I figured it out after some time :) Not very straightforward, but not super complicated either. I can see why the 1-click publish option is available and it really saves a good amount of time (and $ as well, for those who dont have MacOS). Thanks for the solid work guys.
Q: Wildcard domains
Hello, is it possible to add wildcard domains? For example *.example.com.
Thank you for reaching out. You can connect one subdomain when you’re setting up an agency white-label. We don’t currently enable customers to enable a wildcard DNS. You can learn more about the process here - https://support.appmysite.com/agency-white-label/domain/connect-subdomain
We have relayed your feedback to the relevant team regarding adding wildcard DNS. Let me explain how the system currently works.
Users would navigate to 'app.yourdomain.com/sign-up'. When they sign up, they can build their app on 'app.yourdomain.com', end to end. You can naturally connect any subdomain of your preference - app.yourdomain.com is just an example.
Q: White Label Option on Lower Tiers?
Any way to just buy white label on its own, as a one time fee? Not sure if i want to invest for Tier 6 if im only using this for a few apps. Thanks!
We don’t have a license that solely includes the Agency white-label product. This product is available from Tier 6 onwards. Since you’d like to get more apps, we recommend Tiers 9 and 10, which should provide a reasonable app allocation.
So, for us to fully make use of this app, We NOW have to pay...
Analytics - 19/monthly (was only $10 annually in 2023) 1-click publish 9/monthly =$108 (was only $10 annually in 2023) Multilingual 9/monthly =$108 (was only $10 annually in 2023) Team 5/monthly per user paid yearly Remove AppMySite branding 9/monthly = $108 (Money grab here) Rich notifications 29/monthly =$348 In-App Purchase 29/monthly =$348 Drum roll pleaseeeessssss ... $1248! Just to do it yourself hahahahhaaaaa... welp there are websites that will do this for a monthly cost of $49.00, and I paid $69 for access to see what could be possible?
Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns.
Some of the add-ons mentioned here are available on a lifetime basis on higher AppSumo tiers (team, remove AppMySite branding, and Merge apps). Features that involve a significant ongoing cost are available as add-ons. We would like to point out that add-ons essentially extend your app’s functionality. They are not pivotal in building and publishing your apps.
For example, in the case of Analytics, you can track your app usage with Google Firebase instead of purchasing our add-on. 1-click publish is only required if you want to automatically submit your iOS app to the Apple App Store from your ApMySite dashboard. If you don’t want to purchase the add-on, you can submit the app from your Apple developer account as well.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused. Please feel free to reach out for more questions.
Q: The add on went from $10/annually to $108/annually????
Why did I pay $10 annual fee last year to upload my app to store and now you all decided to change your price to 10/monthly??? Seriously, the promise was to simply create and get the app on the app store. When I purchased this, there are all these add-ons. Fine! However, they were low in price BUT now I am expected to pay $108/annually per ADD ON???????????????? You guys have lost your minds and I do not expect this business to last any longer. You have scammed us to get money and now you have changed the price and not delivering on the promise!

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns regarding the recent price adjustment.
We’d like to clarify that until now, we had not made any changes to our pricing for the past five years. During this time, we have continuously invested in:
- Constant Innovations: Introducing new features and updates to improve the platform’s functionality and performance. - Enhanced Features: Adding capabilities to ensure our product remains cutting-edge and delivers value to our users. - Consistent Support: Providing reliable customer support to help you get the most out of your subscription. - Upstream Costs: Absorbing increasing charges from upstream providers without passing them on to our customers until now.
This price adjustment was necessary to continue offering a high-quality platform while maintaining and expanding the features and support you rely on.
If your renewal is scheduled for this month, you will be charged the price you’re already on ($10/yr). However, if your renewal occurs next month, you will be charged based on the new pricing.
Please keep in mind that these add-ons essentially provide extended features and functionality for your app. Not all add-ons are essential for the essential functioning of your app. We understand you paid for the 1-click publish add-on last year to submit your app to the App Store, but alternatively, you can submit the app to the Apple App Store without the add-on as well. We have extensive documentation on how to submit your iOS app to the Apple App Store - https://support.appmysite.com/app/upload/ios/prepare-for-ios-submission
We understand that changes in pricing can be challenging, and we truly appreciate your understanding and continued trust in our services. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
The number of websites essentially corresponds to the number of apps. With Tier 1 for example, you can create three Custom apps, both Android and iOS. With Tier 2, you can make 10 apps, and 25 apps with Tier 3.
You can offer tiered membership with our In-app purchases feature. This feature is currently available as an add-on. The feature is not integrated with any particular WordPress plugin. You can learn more about the feature here – https://support.appmysite.com/app/monetization/in-app-purchases/configure-in-app-purchases
I create my sites with Builderall and community memberships with Systeme.io. If I purchase the Tier 3 license I can create a unique app with the Merge apps feature (Pay-per-app)
You can convert any website into an app with AppMySite using our Web-to-app product. For your specific use case, merge apps would not be the right solution as it would require you to assign different app builds based on location. You can learn more about how the feature works here – https://support.appmysite.com/app/merge-apps/merge-apps
If you only want to convert a single website into an app, the Web-to-App solution would be apt. Can you share more details about what you’re trying to achieve with Builderall and Systeme.io?
Can you confirm if you're logging into AppMySite using the same email you used to purchase the license? If yes, please navigate the following URL and check the status of your license - https://app.appmysite.com/deals
For faster resolution, we would also recommend getting in touch with our support team. You can log a ticket via this link - https://app.appmysite.com/support-pricing
Hi, few days ago Ive received an email from you that my support (as an Appsumo buyer) was downgraded from Business to Basic: https://app.appmysite.com/support-pricing Why?
Any time new customers sign up, we give them our business support plan so that they can get all the support they need to get started and build their app. After a month, all customers are brought back to the basic plan. The basic support plan includes email support, ensuring you can continue getting any assistance you need.
My site is build with Elementor and standard addons, and there are few calculators, including currency converter, which are built with those addons. Will the app will be build with those functioning calculators?
We’re unsure if your WordPress website calculator will work exactly as intended. As a workaround, you can enable webviews and render certain mobile site pages in the app. This article guides you on the same – https://support.appmysite.com/app/web-view/web-view-for-wordpress
If I build my website using Elementor and plugins such as Crocoblock or similar with advanced functionality and the ability to enable or disable functions based on purchased plans and roles, will all this functionality be transformed into an app with AppMySite? Where the users can operate their account both on the website and app, and the information regarding their account is going to be synced?
Second Q - in-app purchases. If we have the ability mentioned above available, what kind of in-app purchases are monetized with AppMySite via the add-on?
- We’re not sure if your website’s exact functionality and user access will be compatible with our WordPress product. One workaround for this is to use our Web-to-app product. This product will render your mobile site in the app. All advanced functionality that is rendered in your mobile website is also rendered in the app. When users make changes on the app, the same should be synced on the website as this product essentially renders your mobile site in the app.
- If you plan to monetize the app by selling digital products or recurring subscriptions, you can get the in-app purchases add-on. If you plan to sell physical products or monetize your app with ads, you don’t need the in-app purchases add-on. This add-on is specifically for digital products and recurring subscriptions.
With WooCommerce specifically, we have a deep integration. You can use our WooCommerce app product that converts your Woo store into an app. In addition, the Web to app product is included in all our LTDs.
Q: WPML & WordPress
We have a website running two languages and use WPML plugin, does this work with it i.e. language switcher?
We’re not sure if our app will be compatible with WPML. Your website’s content will synced to the app as it appears on the website. Learn more on our support page: https://support.appmysite.com/app/add-ons/translate-app
To translate the app’s native texts, buttons, and labels, you can use our Language support feature. It’s available from License tier 3 onwards. The feature automatically translates your app’s native texts, buttons, and labels to the primary language of your website.
Feel free to reach out for more questions. If you like AppMySite, consider leaving us a review.
I am a bit confused about the tiers yo have, for example Tier 6 you can have 3 apps (agency white-label), does that mean we can white label only 3 apps but can create unlimited mobile Apps?
With Tier 6, you can create three apps in your Agency white-label workspace.
Three apps in the Agency white-label workspace means you can assign three paid app licenses in your Agency account. You can technically create as many apps as you like but only assign three paid app licenses in your Agency workspace.
With Tier 6, you can create unlimited apps in your Pay-per-app workspace. All tier 5 features are also included in tier 6.
Hi there! Do you have any plans for a Progressive Web App? It would be very useful and is simple with less hassle, especially for someone running a big listing site. I think Progressive Web Apps would be the best solution.
We’re planning to introduce the PWA feature very soon. While we cannot share an exact date, we can confirm that we’re actively working on it and should be able to share more details soon.
Once the feature is live, we’ll be able to clarify its scope and availability.
Thanks for letting me know about the upcoming PWA feature. Looking forward to hearing more details when it's ready.
Q: Android and IOS App build
The AppSumo Tier 3 says Androidand IOS App. I bought this but in Appmysite workspace I am only allowed to build the Android and need an upgrade for the IOS , how is this the case and why is this not clearly stated in the license.
Tier 3 does allow you to create both Android and iOS apps. There could be an issue with your account. Please log a ticket with our support team to have the issue resolved - https://app.appmysite.com/email-support
Hi, You are right. My bad. I should have used the pay per app to create instead of using the unlimited workspace. Thanks. For Pay per app I do see that I can build both IOS and Android Apps. Thanks for the quick response.

So if the website uses woocommerce for example, it won't work in the app?
Secondly, web to app product is also available through LTD here yes, and counts as one website in the plans?
With WooCommerce specifically, we have a deep integration. You can use our WooCommerce app product that converts your Woo store into an app. In addition, the Web to app product is included in all our LTDs.
Q: WPML & WordPress
We have a website running two languages and use WPML plugin, does this work with it i.e. language switcher?

Dec 2, 2024A: Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
We’re not sure if our app will be compatible with WPML. Your website’s content will synced to the app as it appears on the website. Learn more on our support page:
https://support.appmysite.com/app/add-ons/translate-app
To translate the app’s native texts, buttons, and labels, you can use our Language support feature. It’s available from License tier 3 onwards. The feature automatically translates your app’s native texts, buttons, and labels to the primary language of your website.

Q: Price Confusion
I am a bit confused about the tiers yo have, for example Tier 6 you can have 3 apps (agency white-label), does that mean we can white label only 3 apps but can create unlimited mobile Apps?

Dec 2, 2024A: Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.

Q: About Progressive Web Apps
Hi there! Do you have any plans for a Progressive Web App? It would be very useful and is simple with less hassle, especially for someone running a big listing site. I think Progressive Web Apps would be the best solution.

Thank you for reaching out.
We’re planning to introduce the PWA feature very soon. While we cannot share an exact date, we can confirm that we’re actively working on it and should be able to share more details soon.
Once the feature is live, we’ll be able to clarify its scope and availability.

Q: Android and IOS App build
The AppSumo Tier 3 says Androidand IOS App. I bought this but in Appmysite workspace I am only allowed to build the Android and need an upgrade for the IOS , how is this the case and why is this not clearly stated in the license.

Dec 1, 2024A: Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out.
