Q: New to the app world

Can I literally create an app from scratch and name it and then search that name in the app store and use it? Is there any additional charges or things I would need to connect to make it functioning? Can I charge for my app?

A: Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out.

Yes! You can create an app from scratch, give it a name you like, and publish it on the app stores. That’s why we built AppMySite, to let users create apps without coding.

Besides the fee to purchase our license, you don’t need to pay anything extra to AppMySite. There are certain features available as add-ons, but they are additional features, not necessary for publishing your app.

You would need to pay to create a Google and Apple developer account. These are mandatory to submit your app to the app stores. You’re required to pay a one-time fee of $25 for Google Play, and an annual fee of $99 for an Apple App Store Connect account.

Please feel free to reach out for more questions.

Q: Trying to find the use in this.

I purchased tier 5 and later downgraded to tier 3 after noticing I still had to pay additional if I wanted the apps to be published to Apple & Google Store. The apps do not function independently. I thought converting the website into an app would take the current structure and do just that, convert it. Not me still having to go in and design it. There's a weird logo still present, even though it's supposed to be removed. Tell me how this is different from me having clients to add the website icon to their homescreen and easily access the website that way? I'm trying to understand the benefit if the app is still going to be linked to a marketplace.

A: Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out.

Just to clarify – you don’t need to pay AppMySite anything extra to publish on Google Play and Apple App Stores. You are required to publish these apps with your own Google Play Console and App Store Connect account. There is a fee associated with this, but this is paid directly to the app stores, not AppMySite.

You have the option of buying the Upload to App Stores add-on to let our team publish the app for you – but this is an optional service, and you can always complete the process on your own without buying the add-on. If you need help, you can refer to our knowledge base (https://support.appmysite.com) or log a ticket with our support team. We’re always ready to assist customers with app submission issues.

We currently have four products –

1. WordPress - Convert WordPress websites into apps
2. WooCommerce - Convert Woo stores into apps
3. Web to app – Convert any website into an app
4. Custom app - Build an app without a website

The main value of converting your existing website into an app is visibility. Customers are more connected to apps than browsers – app session times confirm as much. The app you build on AppMySite is a native app build– which means its optimized for performance on mobile. If you want a medium with higher retention and engagement with customers, apps are a great option.

A: Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out.

License tier 10 includes unlimited apps within your Agency white-label workspace. In simple words, you can assign as many paid app licenses in your white-labeled portal as you like – there is no limit.

From tiers 6 to 9, there is a specific upper limit on the number of paid app licenses you can assign. For example, with Tier 6, you can assign a paid app license to three apps. This keeps increasing with every tier, and tier 10 gets you unlimited paid app licenses.

Please feel free to reach out for more questions.

Q: What is the license level similar to Agency white-label?

Hello!

It seems to me that it would be the Level 6 license that has the agency's white label license ✅, is that it?

What differentiates level 6 from the other higher ones is the item: Applications (agency's white label signature)

What would this item be?

What changes from 3 to 10? Could you give me more details so I can understand?

How many apps for Android and iOS can I hire Level 6 and create?

If I'm going to create an app for my Woocommerce website, I would create the app for iOS + Android.

How many can I make?

My goal with the license would be the following:

I already develop Woocommerce web stores for my clients.
And now, I would like to develop the app for them, what would be the best plan?

Agency white label or unlimited workspace?

What is the difference between the two?

And which plan would fit them?

Thank you.

A: Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out and taking an interest in AppMySite.

We understand you have questions about our Agency white-label product. With this product, you can white-label our app-building portal and host it on your own branded domain. This way, your clients and customers can log in to build and manage apps in a portal with your branding.

As you mentioned, this product is available from Tier 6 onwards. With every progressing tier, you get more paid app licenses for your Agency white-label portal. So for example with tier 6, you can assign three paid app licenses. With each license, your clients can build one Android and iOS app. The limit keeps increasing till Tier 10, where you can assign an unlimited number of licenses.

We understand you build WooCommerce stores for your clients. If you’d like to let your clients log in to a white-labeled portal, we’d recommend Tier 6 or higher. However, if you plan to directly deliver apps to your clients, and don’t need them to log in to an app-building portal, we’d recommend any plan between Tier 3 to 5, as per your app requirements.

Please feel free to reach out for more questions.

Q: Tier 5 Retcon?

I got an email about being downgraded in service and I also see that Tier 5, once the highest at the time of my purchase on 31 May 2021, is now mid-tier. To regain white-label I will need to spend "Upgrade to tier 6 for $675". 😣

There is no longer a "pro" tier and the two corresponding plans are both $799/mo (Unlimited Workspace or Agency White-Label).

Former Plan Details:
Collaborate
Ready to publish app
Mobile platforms (Android + IOS)
Distribution license (Android + IOS)
Web platforms (woo-commerce + word-press) Personalized app design
Real-time sync with website
Real-time simulation
Dynamic app menu
Payment gateway support
Social media integration
Unlimited app revisions
Unlimited websites
Unlimited users
White label
Multi-lingual
Multi-site

Did we just get retconned?

Cheers!

A: Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out.

We’d like to assure you that all the features promised in Tier 5 still remain within your license. When you bought the license in 2021, the Agency white-label product did not exist. The ‘White-label’ mentioned in your list refers to white-labeled mobile apps, which continue to be part of our Tier 5 offering.

We introduced new tiers (6 to 10) after launching the Agency white-label product. We’re not sure about the message you received, but you do not need to upgrade to ‘regain’ white label. White-labeled apps were always a part of your Tier 5 license and will continue to be. If you’d like to white-label the app-building portal, you’d need to upgrade to Tier 6.

We hope this clears things up. Please feel free to reach out for more questions.
