Auphonic

Auphonic is an AI audio post-production tool that enhances the audio quality of recordings for podcasts, broadcasts, screencasts, and movies.

To use it, simply upload your recording onto the website, choose your settings, and confirm them. Auphonic will automatically start producing the audio with AI.

The Auphonic intelligent leveler adjusts the different sounds in your audio, such as speech and music, to balance the loudness. At the same time, the Global Loudness Normalization algorithm adjusts loudness between different files. You can set a loudness target, and Auphonic will apply gains until it reaches that level.

Audio Restoration feature uses a noise reduction algorithm to eliminate background noises and hisses. The classifier will automatically determine how much noise to remove, but you can pre-set the reduction amount to ensure Auphonic doesn’t remove any essential audio.

Whether you’re doing single or multitrack editing, Auphonic processes the tracks automatically make the final mixture. It applies various editing effects such as ducking, filtering, cross talk removal, hum reduction, leveling, and gating.

Auphonic also has a speech recognition engine that can recognize different voices in over 80 languages in the audio tracks. It can also generate transcripts. The transcriptions appear in an HTML output file with a transcript editor, which displays the confidence values for each word so you can manually locate errors and fix them.

You can also connect Auphonic to an external speech recognition or transcription software if needed. It integrates with popular software like Speechmatics, Amazon transcribe, Wit.ai, and Google Cloud Speech.

Auphonic also supports audio editing for videos. After editing, you can directly export it to YouTube. You can also import/export audio and video files from Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, and Amazon S3.
