Q: Can i have like a source file, lets say a Google Docs, and use that info to fill other Google Docs or excel templates?

I mean as example: in my source i have 5 columns in this order: Product Name, SKU, UPC Code, Product Family, Price. And i want to automatic populate another template i uploaded before with other 5 columns in this order: Price, SKU, Product Name, Product Family, UPC code.

Is it possible?

My us case its because from one source i need to populate a lot of different excels for different platforms that basically have the same info some times in other order, sometimes called different (i.e SKU = Item #)

A: We do not support excel templates yet. With the platform, you could read the Excel and fill the doc template. If you need data from multiple sources, you will need to consolidate the data in an Excel before generating the document.

Since we subscribe to excel or google sheets webhooks, if you consolidate this data using Zapier, for example, once the data is completed, the document will be created automatically

Q: I don’t want anything saved in Google Drive or really anywhere.

I do not need a copy of the document at all.

I need a way to generate a PDF after they fill out a form and have it be emailed as an attachment to a client. I would need to do this via an API (webhook of some kind).

Is this possible with your program?

Q: Hello, my workflow is following: 1.

I have a Questionnaire, which automatically feeds my Google sheets
2. I need certain data from the sheet would be automatically placed in Google doc to automate the paperwork
3. This is about training, so I need the data to be transferred to Google Slides, where I prepared the certificates.
I want to initialize the actions manually and possibly edit the documents.

A: Hello,

You can create the documents (docs) automatically and have it saved as .docx in your google drive where you can edit them.

Currently we do not support Slides.

Q: Hello, I have two questions.

I use Airtable daily. Can I implement document creation across multiple bases as long as I stay within my plan's allowance? Also, does AutomatedDocs allow generated documents to be automatically stored within the Airtable base field without the need for a third-party application or webhooks?

A: Yes! Each template can be linked to one Airtable database. As long as you stay within the plan limits, there are no limitation on the number of templates.

We do not support adding the document back to the Airtable DB yet, we are currently working on it.

A: We would like to offer a native integration with signing software (Signwell, Docusign, Etc) Currently is only possible using webhooks or via Make/Zapier

A: Hi!

We offer webhooks for both capturing data and delivering the resulting documents. You can easily use Make.com to send us data via a webhook, and in turn, we can send a webhook back to Make.com containing the URL for the generated document. Alternatively, our platform also supports direct integrations for document delivery.

Q: Use case question If a realtor wanted to have a landing page with a chatbot /Or not.

Could a person on the page type in 3 beds, 2 bath, 1 story, pool, zip code AND a attached spreadsheet could create a list (PDF/Docx) that can be downloaded OR sent to the person’s email or sms but have clickable links that takes them to the home listing ?

Possible in this scenario? Is this straightforward or complex if can be done using your tool.

1. I wonder if I can use a form that my client fills out, the form content is sent via webhook to AutomatedDocs, and a PDF doc is sent to the client's email?

A: Hi,

1) We have on the roadmap adding multiple email workflows. Which includes using a field from the form as a To in the email and other fields in the Subject and Body. It's not ready yet, but high on our to-do list.

2) We don't have a credit system in place, but is something we could look into it.
