Q: The question is simple: is there a way to give the plugin that indication, or is this feature still on the roadmap?
When I look at the plugin, I see that the ‘content types’ section with radio buttons feels like it’s still under development. Right now, it fails to recognize some of the additional pages we’ve built. That creates a gap. Because what we really need is a way to tell the plugin, upfront, which page categories should be considered under ‘content types.’ Otherwise, we’re left with guesswork. The question is simple: is there a way to give the plugin that indication, or is this feature still on the roadmap?
A: BerqWP automatically detects all post types and taxonomies that are set to public => true. If you’re using custom post types, please make sure the public parameter is set to true and exclude_from_search is set to false. That way, the plugin will recognize them correctly.
Both BerqWP and ShortPixel Adaptive Images offer CDN capabilities. What’s the best way to use them together to avoid conflicts and maximize performance?
To use BerqWP and ShortPixel Adaptive Images together without conflicts and get the best performance, just disable ShortPixel’s image lazy loading feature. Once that’s done, both plugins should work smoothly and complement each other.
This is a new addition and not involved to this one.. so we are not getting the fastest way to load the image files? You might bring paid version later of more things, deeming this just useless
Just to clarify — as a lifetime AppSumo customer, you’re already getting fast-loading images. All your images are automatically converted to WebP format and delivered via our CDN, ensuring excellent speed and performance.
The Fluid Images Addon is an optional enhancement, not a replacement for the existing optimization. What it does differently is:
As per terms of the Appsumo, all future updates are included, and all the plans on your webpage has fluid images included. I see that the terms are broken from your side.
yes, it´s understandable that you make new conditions for new users, but please be so kind (and fair) to honor the early involvement of your early adopters. Would be even willing to pay a one-time fee as a compromise.
I do like and use your plugin, it delivers better results than many others, so I hope you move away from LTDs soon and make sure to get plenty of subscriptions.
It clearly states "All future Business Site Plan updates" in your AppSumo deal terms, and on your website, the "Fluid Images" feature is included in the Business Plan.
So — why isn't this feature added to AppSumo LTD holders accordingly?
This is a huge red flag and shady practice if the terms we paid for aren't being honored. Awaiting their response on this.
We're also offering unlimited sites in our agency plan, so are we obliged to offer unlimited in the deal? That's not a reasonable point. There are many products on AppSumo whose site plans and deal features aren't the same.
Also we were guided by the AppSumo Business Development team that we can offer addons and charge separately for them. So I don't think there's any room for error.
I never mentioned anything about your "Agency Plan" or "unlimited sites." What does that have to do with this?
We're simply referring to the terms of this deal, which is supposed to be tied to the Business Plan on your website, but apparently its not (by making Fluid Images a subscription add-on).
If there's some confusion, it's your job to liaise with AS and clarify it here. Not ours.
I used the Agency plan's unlimited sites as an analogy.
Now that I’ve found it in the "Deal Terms & Conditions" section, it seems we don’t have access to edit this part of the content. I’ll check with the AppSumo team to see if they can update it for us. Thanks for pointing this out.
We discussed this matter with AppSumo support and found that they added the “All future Business Site Plan updates” term without our consent or knowledge. Since this term is not editable, it was a mismanagement issue on their side. However we will continue honoring the term, with the exception of addons.
Q: Any plans to improve the caching time?
I want to use this on a number of sites that we manage. We're doing testing on 2 of the sites. They have several hundred pages, and it takes 6 to 7 hours for the cache to be built.
At the moment, our cache generation speed is intentionally set to a limit of 2 pages per minute. This is to ensure compatibility with most hosting providers — as we’ve found that exceeding this rate can cause some hosts to block our server requests due to the high number of simultaneous hits.
We understand that on sites with hundreds of pages, this can take several hours. We’re...

Q: Does this work with webflow ?
Hamza_Mairaj
Aug 16, 2025A: Hi,
BerqWP is a WordPress-only plugin, so unfortunately it won’t work with Webflow. It’s designed specifically to integrate with WordPress sites.

I believe there’s some confusion on your end which you can resolve by contacting AppSumo support.

@Hamza thank you for the reply. What if the caching was done server side and then uploading in chunks to your environment?
