Hi team Does this tool work well with WordPress multisite? My websites are hosted on Cloudway. Would I have any problems using BerqWP instead of the native plugins?

A: Absolutely BerqWP is compatible with WordPress Multisite, including websites hosted on Cloudways.
Just make sure Cloudways' cache plugin "Breeze" is disabled to avoid conflicts.
Q: Plugin (free version) causing critical error after update to 4.0.18 and 4.0.19
I've had this plugin sitting in my basket for a while as I love the concept. Generally on simple sites it works really well. I've been using the free version on 3 different WordPress sites on 3 different hosts and was happy with the results. However, after upgrading the plugin to 4.0.18 yesterday, it caused a critical WordPress error on 2 of the sites, so obviously I didn't update the third. Today...

A: Hey there,
It’s not like the error is embedded in the plugin, there must be some conflict. Could you please create a support ticket with WordPress login details for any website that encountered the error so we investigate this further? If you need help recovering the website, we can help with that too.
Hi Hamza, thanks for your reply. I appreciate the error isn't embedded in the plugin, however the only way to recover the sites was to deactivate the plugin itself. A conflict makes sense, elementor maybe? Sorry, I should have noted down the error, I just tried to replicate it but it won't let me reactivate it with the message, "Plugin could not be activated because it triggered a fatal error."
Thanks Hamza, appreciate that. However as these were on production sites I've resolved it by deactivating the plugin. Although now it won't let me delete the plugin, I get the message, "Deletion failed: There has been a critical error on this website.Learn more about troubleshooting WordPress." If I have time, I'll fire up a test site to see if I can replicate it.
It looks like the plugin directory was manually deleted or renamed. In that case, the advanced-cache.php file also needs to be removed manually otherwise it can trigger a critical error.
The error log confirms that the code cannot find the plugin directory because it has been renamed or deleted.
If it's easier, we can continue the discussion at [email protected].

A: Technically caching has nothing to do with page indexing. The pages being de-indexed are most likely related to the SEO Generator. Thanks for mentioning the ticket ID. I’m currently looking into it.
Thanks Hamza, I know caching has nothing "technically" to do with indexing. But going from 85+/- google page speed score to 28+/- would be linked to indexability due to page load times and user experience i think. Please let me know if you need anything else
Lower performance alone can never cause deindexing unless the loading time is unreasonably high, such as 30 seconds which is not the case with your website.
We’ve added compatibility with the SEO Generator plugin. Please check your ticket for details.
Thanks Hamza, thats great. I cant see the ticket, but i can see the compatibility within the app, now recognising SEOGenerator pages, and its being processed in the cloud. I have a similar set up amongst other apps. Can you tell me how you got it to work? So I can apply the fix to my other sites please
Sorry ive just seen the ticket. If you can include the patch in updates that will be amazing. For the meantime, which files shall I copy over to my other sites via ftp / file manager to the others
If my WooCommerce images are already served from an external CDN and not stored locally in WordPress, will BerqWP still optimize and deliver them through its system?
Or does it require images to be hosted in the WordPress media library to fully work?
Thanks

A: BerqWP can automatically detect images hosted on external CDNs. To avoid any broken images, we don’t convert those images to WebP or AVIF format, we leave image optimization to the CDN provider. However they are still lazy loaded.
Q: Does this tool work for complex self-dev WordPress Websites?
Hi there,
searching for a plugin to support page speed optimization, does the tool support cname url regarding cdn?
And is it suitable for WordPress Websites with ACF developed plugin/taxonomy stuff and scripts?
Thanks and best regards
Hamza_Mairaj
May 29, 2026A: Hey there,
BerqWP doesn't support CNAME for CDN as of now.
BerqWP is fully compatible with custom websites built using CPTs, taxonomies, ACF, Meta Box and similar tools.

Can’t say for sure what caused it. If you could share the WordPress login details, we’ll be able to investigate the cause and fix the error.

A test site would be even better
Hamza, here is the error from the logs and the contents of the advanced-cache.php file that was causing the issue: https://pastecode.io/s/vhbxvj77
I hope that helps! If I get time to create a test site I'll raise a ticket directly, rather than clogging up AppSumo!
