Paid More for Less + Poor Support Experience
I bought the BerqWP AppSumo deal (8 codes, $300+), trusting the platform and thinking it was the best lifetime option. Later, BerqWP released the same plugin on their own website with better features (like Fluid Images) and an unlimited website plan for only $249 — much cheaper than what I paid on AppSumo.
That’s completely unfair to early customers who supported them first. When I contacted BerqWP, their support took 3 days to reply, which is unacceptable for a speed optimization company claiming to be “agency-ready.”
I also reached out to AppSumo support, but since my refund period had expired, they refused to issue a refund or adjustment — even though this situation clearly wasn’t my fault. I was offered a $10 coupon, which feels like a joke compared to the amount I spent and the frustration caused.
So in the end, I paid more money for fewer features, got slow support, and no real solution from either BerqWP or AppSumo.
I’ve been a loyal AppSumo user for years, but this experience really changed my trust level. Both companies need to treat early supporters fairly and stand behind their promises. Right now, I cannot recommend BerqWP or this AppSumo deal to anyone.

Oct 15, 2025We're paying appsumo more than we're getting out of this deal, that's the main reason we can offer direct deals at lower prices cause we don't have to pay any cut. That deal was available for three days only and then it was removed.
In the review you're talking like you want to refund the product and you're not satisfied with it, yet you're trying your best to get Fluid Images for free in ticket chat, you also mentioned "I genuinely love BerqWP" . Why this irony? You're annoyed because there are people getting the product at lower prices, that's jealousy. Keep in mind, companies may offer discounts or improve their offer to get new users in short time, this doesn't mean they're being unfair with older customers.
At last comes our support time, we're very dedicated to our support requests unlike others we don't say "this isn't possible" we take time and get back to our customers with the proper solution they requested. This is why we have three days response time.
Next time you ask chat gpt to write a review, at least give it proper context. The review mentions $10 coupon which has nothing to do from our side, its appsumo that runs discount/coupon campaign.
