Q: Linux timeline and beta-testing
Hi, I'm reluctant to get a Blip AI plan because most of my devices are Linux; I know a Linux release is on your roadmap, but any thought about what the timeline might be (grossly is fine, less than a month, 3 months, 6 to 12 months)? Is the beta version for Linux somewhat stable? And are you still accepting Linux beta-testers?

Edited Apr 26, 2026A: Hey, Linux is already in our https://blip-ai.canny.io/. Would you like to beta test it? Please feel free to join our https://discord.gg/mBmarbKknz. I am creating a channel for Linux beta and will share the link directly there so you can check it out. One of our users actually used our REST API to build their own version for Linux, but it is not required. We already have a version that is a cross platform and could work in Linux out of the box. We just need to test it. Would you like to join our beta test for Linux? Just join our https://discord.gg/mBmarbKknz and we'll share the link there.
Thank you for your quick reply, and I would love to join the testers. I have joined the discord server and will DM you there because I don't see a Linux beta tester channel (at least that is public). And thank you for supporting Linux in general, it's a major gap that most of your competitors completely ignore, thanks again!
Hey, thanks for joining the https://discord.gg/mBmarbKknz - I have recently created the linux specific channel and will be sharing it in the next couple of days.
