A great app that saves you loads of time.
I’ve tested this app several times on the Windows 11 client and on my iPhone, and I think it’s simply brilliant.
I’ve switched from the TypLess app to Blip AI.
It seems there’s still some work to be done on the iPhone version. It’s a bit fiddly to use it across different apps.
Otherwise, everything’s great and we’re looking forward to seeing how it develops.

Blip AI is the Winner. Went from skeptical to OMG!!
I was skeptical due to some reviews but I’ve been testing almost every dictation tool out there - Wispr Flow, VoiceDash, Amical, and a bunch of others - but Blip AI is the one that genuinely stood out and impressed me. Blip AI is the Winner!!!
The quality and speed of the product is genuinely impressive and their support in unmatched. I love the Action mode as don't have to copy-paste from GPT again and again.
Why i think this is the best bet:
* Very Fast and very accurate
* 24/7 active founders as i have seen on discord
* looks like a long term credible startup
* Very Commited team + very fast updates to apps means they do listen to feedback.
p.s : I realised people complaining are on older versions and haven't updated the app.

Fix the failed transcriptions issue
This seems like it would be an obvious feature to have built into the application, and its absence is causing unnecessary frustration. If I bought an application that wrote content for me, I'd expect that app to let me edit the content, simple, obvious.
This application isn't about editing content, it's about recording your voice, transcribing it, and putting it into usable formats. What's irresponsibly missing is actually RECORDING the audio locally, THEN uploading it to their servers for transcription. (This works on mobile devices, but it's unnecessarily missing from the desktop version.)
Everybody knows how unreliable AI can be. Even Internet connections can be finicky at times. This should have been built in from the beginning.
Personally, I've found that about 30% (1 in 3) of transcriptions over 5 minutes fail. >:(
They don't record, they don't transcribe - nothing. I just get a message that says "transcription failed, try again."
I cannot tell you how outrageously frustrating it is to go off on a 13-minute brainstorm session, coming up with brilliant ideas, only to have the entire thing lost.
What I'm doing now is using my phone's voice recorder to record anything that I even think is gonna go over 5 minutes, then I use the desktop app. WHEN (not if) When blip fails, I have a backup. But I don't like I should have to do this
Fix this and you've got a 5-star app.
Without it, I'd call this gross negligence.

It does the job perfectly especially for prompting.
However i'm literally boring about the login system. Each time i have to go website validate and go back to desktop App its annoying.
Please use a license system that is checked in background with validity period so that we dont have to do these multi steps each time we use the tool

What I Always Wanted Gboard (mic) to Be
I really enjoy using Blip AI.
Every time I’m on my computer or phone, I hit the hotkey and boom, it does what you always wish Gboard would do. On a computer, it’s even easier and faster. Cleans up the phrases way better than I'm accustomed too.
Tip for Windows users: set your hotkey to Ctrl + Alt. It works much better, especially if you’re a shortcut nut.
I also use Blip to save frequently used statements, and I even programmed in my last name so I never have to spell it out again.
My one feature request: please make Blip available as a selectable microphone or keyboard app on Android. The floating widget works, but it’s not nearly as smooth as having Blip built directly into the keyboard or mic options.
