Q: Does Braincert act as a Merchant of Record in order to intermediate payments?

As in, my customers pay through a Braincert method and it handles taxes and returns, and I invoice Braincert for the amount charged? Similar to what Teachable does?

A: We do not act as an intermediary. All transactions are sent directly to your payment processor and deposited immediately into your respective payment account. We do not hold any transactions or charge additional fees. The only fee is what you pay to the payment processor, such as PayPal or Stripe, for the transaction.

Q: I'm unsure of how one can present a course - Can I show single-page courses?

or will all my courses have to stay in a directory/university/hub, where students see all the courses before enrolling in their own class of interest?

It's because I will have courses that cater to different groups, and I hope to be able to segment the courses so the students are only exposed to one at a time.

Moreover, can you explain a bit more about how communities are separated as well as how many we get with the Appsumo deals?

Q: I have very important question I am a new subscriber and I am trying to transfer all my courses and work to you from the Teachable.

Therefore, there are some important points for me on which my decision will be made
I created a price for the course and linked it to a specific number of days, so that when a person subscribes to the course, he has a specific period during which he can see the content, and after the end of the period he cannot access the content again.

Then I created discount coupons, including 100% discount coupons. When using this voucher, the learner's special expiry period does not apply and the period becomes open.

Why does this happen... and how is it treated... so that when using 100% discount coupons, the validity period remains valid and effective as in Teachable?

A: CRM contacts are leads who have not been enrolled in courses and therefore are not considered as learners or admin users. Tier 5 offers unlimited admins and authors, as well as support for an unlimited number of learners. Once a CRM contact enrolls in a course, they will be classified as a learner.

Q: Hello, you say you are GDPR certified.

However, at https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list you are listed as an inactive company. The EU's new agreement with the USA only allows this option in order to host the data outside the EU in a legally secure manner. However, they would also have to be actively certified there. Can you please tell me how you comply with the GDPR from your point of view? As I understand it, they would either have to be certified at https://www.dataprivacyframework.gov/list or host the data in Europe. Thank you for your reply.

Regarding the blog feature, it is indeed under development, and we are targeting a release by the end of July. While we are focused on launching a native blogging platform, we currently do not have plans to develop a blog migration tool. This means that initially, you might need to manually transfer content if necessary.

As for the affiliate marketing option, we're also working on this feature, and we anticipate its launch in August, if not sooner. This will enable you to expand your marketing efforts and leverage partnerships to grow your user base.

instructors to their own content", the admin cannot restict the instructors from the following as well and is ONLY available to enterprise plans?

❌ Restrict instructors from using the UPLOADED CONTENT

❌ Restrict instructors from using the SCORM CONTENT

❌ Restrict instructors from using BrainCert virtual classroom to avoid sharing limited monthly resources BUT allow them for CUSTOM LINK so they can schedule live classes using third-party meeting apps.

❌ Restrict instructors from recording classes using the BrainCert virtual classroom.

❌ Restrict instructors from creating NEW landing pages, but able to duplicate existing landing pages created by SUPERADMIN

❌ Restrict instructors from creating NEW content pages, but able to duplicate existing content pages created by SUPERADMIN

❌ Restrict instructors from accessing ONLINE STORE.

❌ Restrict the limit of courses an instructor could create.

(2) "Default content pages like terms of service, privacy policy, and about us are fully customizable—you can unpublish, edit, or replace them. These pages are provided as templates and do not display BrainCert branding."

But I can't find ANY way to remove the braincert branding. Where can we find the option to remove Braincert branding like you said?

(3) "The term 'Courses' is preferred by the majority of our users, but we provide options to customize this terminology via a language override feature."

The "Courses" on the left panel shows the user's courses while the "Courses" on the header shows the Course Catalog.

There is no option to differentiate both via interface language, even support said there is no option but you said there is an option. Where can we find that option?

(4) "Images with incorrect resolutions, sizes, or special characters can trigger our WAF, which ensures security and compliance with our platform's standards"

I am simply uploading a simple image following Braincerts image criteria (not my criteria). How can the internal server error be resolved? I haven't had a resolution about this yet since April 20, 2024.

A: With BrainCert, you can schedule one-time and recurring live classes, and invite both internal and external learners. Learners can view the class schedule in their calendar and on the dashboard. By adding live classes to a catalog, students can access all the classes and select a lesson.

Q: I'm an existing Tier 3 customer.

Is there any way to change only 1 feature -- max number of CRM contacts / learners -- by buying a block of additional CRM users as an add-on? Or, if going up to Tier 5 is the only way to get 20,000 CRM contacts/learners, is there any way to get more than that---say, 30K CRM contacts?

1) What is Timeline for Razorpay integration for indian users?
I want to sell course in india & none of inbuilt available payment option commonly not used in india.

2) How we can give access to user if they enroll in course with any other landing page & payment gateway option because for tier 2 You not providing any option for web-hooks integration?(manual adding to user is not great option as now) & what will be other option .

A: We support creating multilingual content; however, the interface language will be in a specific language only. There is an internal effort to offer languages as a dropdown so learners can set their own language. If you are looking for ways to enforce a different language from the backend, we do offer enterprise plans on our website that allow setting the interface language at a group level. All users in the group will see the enforced language after signing in.

Q: Hi!

I wanted to share an issue that I faced today after purchasing a tier 3 account. I had assumed that I would be able to sell my digital products, including ebooks and audio files that I already sell on Payhip, and transfer my existing membership to BrainCert. However, it appears that selling digital products is not currently available on your platform. I am also unclear about the membership transfer process. I noticed that both the membership site and online store are listed as features on your home page. Could you tell me when the ability to sell digital products will be available? Also, once I transfer the material from my membership area, what steps should I take to create a membership?

A: The online store tool currently allows for the sale of shippable products, as well as digital products like courses, tests, bundles, and live classes. We will soon introduce a new feature that will enable the sale of individual files such as videos or PDFs as digital items in the online store.
