Q: Clarification on Branding5 Reports, Regenerations, and Plan Limitations

Hello, I need clarification, please. :)

If I understand correctly, Branding5 generates a marketing and branding strategy once, and I just follow it unless I change my positioning? Is it designed to evolve over time, or is it meant to be a static report? What's the purpose of creating new reports or regenerating sections? Is one report for one company, and regeneration updates a section without changing the overall report?

The AppSumo plans at level 2 mention only 15 unique reports and no regenerations. But in your responses, you said that at level 2, we could regenerate sections. Is that correct?

If I want to test multiple ideas (say 15 per year) and regenerate to refine my marketing plan, which plan should I choose?

Thank you! :)

A: Hi Nicolas!

If you’re a business using it for yourself, a report is usually meant to be fairly static. You generate it, implement the strategy, and only create a new report once you have new market insights or change direction. This process usually takes several months!

If you’re an agency, regenerations are especially useful. They let you refine individual sections if you don’t like certain outputs or want to explore a different direction with a client. One report equals one brand, and regenerating a section updates only that part, not the entire report. After implementation and real market feedback, you would typically generate a new report.

Important note on plans: section regenerations start at Tier 3. Tier 2 includes reports only, without regenerations.

If you want to test around 15 ideas, Tier 2 is a good place to start. You can always upgrade later when we’re back on AppSumo.
