8 per inbox is very limited. If I need to send 80 email addresses, then I would have to create 10 different mailboxes.
Yes, you may send more of course but we do not send high volumes per inbox in the interest of health and deliverability over the short to long term. Typically for each subdomain users get 2-4 inboxes each, our platform offers them at a lower rate than either Instantly or Smartlead to my knowledge and we'd be happy to help you figure out more cost effective ways!
If I warm up properly and maintain good reply rates, is it realistically sustainable to run 2 inboxes at ~30–40 emails/day each (60–80 total/day) on a single domain without hurting deliverability long-term?
Or would you still strongly recommend spreading that volume across more inboxes/subdomains?

Diversification is strongly recommended when it comes to email, when running large campaigns, it is very possible you get reported as spam multiple times in a single week by a few leads, which can cause the entire inbox to stop delivering for a few days. Our warmup will eventually get it back up, but you'll end up with losing 50% of your deliverability for a few days.
Therefore, the more diverse your infra is, the better. However, we don't have any limits set on the number of emails you can send from an inbox or the number of inboxes you can add on BrandJet.
